Wow, I must not be as active as some of you. I don't recall a single post by this guy.

I remember an annoying ruthless pointless troll we had here that got banned... he was an 'Absurdist'.... glad he's gone. Forget his name though, haha.

You're very lucky in that regard! ;)

I don't think he's a troll, just semi retarded. I like him because he makes me feel smart, lets keep around.

I think he's funny sometimes. I don't think retarded is quite right, some of his retorts are very clever in a warped sort of way, but he's something, that's for sure.

I ENJOY TRYING TO MAKE SENSE OF IT . What I really want to know is where he is from.

Well, he's banned. I don't mind the exercise in logic, and he's very imaginative coming up with responses, but essentially advocating genocide by implication bothers people, which is a good thing.

He's most likely a troll, but who cares? I don't think he needs to be banned. Just send his threads to Hot Topics so people can enjoy a good laugh. That way you can also spare the IP of his neighbors.

I remember from being a mod elsewhere before on a vbulletin forum.. There was a fate worse than banning we could resort to. Couldn't we make his posts invisible to everyone (except the mods)? He wouldn't know that his threads are invisible, he would just think that people were ignoring him. That would remove his presence, and keep him from creating another account.

What a dandy idea. Usually I think we don't mind people coming back with a new identity so much so long as their new behavior is better, but this guy might be an exception. It's something to think about, if it is doable, in any event.

The problem is, if left alone, he will create dozens of threads a day, clogging up 'New Posts' from having any useful discussion while he gets everyone to argue against his bigotry and desires for genocide. That is just too much.

That would be nice. Although I hope he wouldn't catch on and just make another account, but if we can keep doing that to all of his accounts, maybe he'll get the picture? Or maybe he's not capable of understanding the disturbance he is causing here... or has a goal to disrupt. Either way, we need to figure out how to stop him from disrupting us.

I think that he knows exactly what he is doing.

What's in a name? A troll by any other name would still provide news from under the bridge.
