The latest from Trump about possibly trying to disinfect the lungs with an IV is inexplicably stupid. And no he wasn't taken out of context I watched the context. It was inexplicably stupid. The thing is by saying something that retarded he undercut an important point that goes against the COVID-19 narrative being pushed by the media and the so called "experts." Hot, humid weather slows the transmission of the virus. That's why there have been so few COVID-19 deaths in sub-Saharan Africa. But Dr.. Fauci and the other so called "experts" were saying that wasn't the case just a month ago. The actual science has proven them wrong, but that gets lost because the focus is on Donald Trump's provably stupid statement.

Not convinced? Consider this. The first statement by Trump on COVID-19 that drew national attention and criticism was when he went on Sean Hannity and said he had a "hunch" that the death rate was overstated because a lot of people likely had the virus and didn't know it. The only problem with that statement is that it wasn't just a "hunch." Dr. Fauci said the exact same thing in the New England Journal of Medicine on February 28, 2020.. But now antibody tests have proven Trump right! So....why hasn't Trump done a victory lap? Why isn't he tweeting out like there's no tomorrow "My hunch was right. The death rate is closer to the flu."

Need more evidence? Okay. Remember governor Cuomo complaining about how he needed more ventilators and Trump saying that was on overestimate? Well...it turns out the ventilators may be killing people. Is indisputable that 88% of those put on ventilators are dying. The open question is whether those people would have died either way. At least one front line doctor has come out and said he thinks the protocol is wrong and putting people on ventilators is causing premature deaths. The prime minister of the U.K. was put on oxygen as opposed to a ventilator. So....why not highlight this?

Oh...but you say "The deep state controlled media would crucify him if he told the truth." Any worse than they are now for saying something as retarded as using ultraviolet inside the lungs or a disinfectant IV? Which brings us to hydroxychloroquine. It's absolutely worth looking into, and people are looking into it. But it shouldn't have been trotted out by itself. A statement like "Doctors are looking into different treatments such as hydroxychloroqine, IV vitamin C,hydrogen peroxide therapy and a lot of other different options. Rest assured our medical community will come up with a solution. That's why it's important to keep the free market free." Instead he put all the emphasis on one treatment. But that's not the worst.

Why on EARTH did he throw the governor of Georgia under the bus after saying just the opposite that states should consider re-opening when it made sense? As the Bible says "A double-minded is unstable in all his ways." Seriously, that makes no freaking sense. Trump is right to say that ulta-violet light on the outside of your body is helpful, but in killing viruses and making vitamin D. Which means that in this nice weather people need to get out and get some sunshine. That's why the governor of Florida is SMART for allowing the beaches to re-open as long as people keep in moving and don't congregate. Again, that's the intelligent take away from the recent scientifically prove fact that heat and humidity indeed kill or retard the growth of the virus This also means that the "myth" that steam can help kill COVID-19 is actually true. No you don't need a disinfectant IV or ultraviolet light in your lungs But breathing in steam can help. Taking IV vitamin C can help. Trump has poisoned the well of alternative remedies by saying inane things.

I don’t understand the debate.

Government has NO business in healthcare.

Okay. But that wasn't what I was talking about. As POTUS Donald Trump has what is known as the "bully pulpit." Had Ron Paul been elected president he would have been expected to at the very least speak to the nation at a time like this, and he would have done so. The things being spoken to the nation at a time like this need to be intelligent. And Trump has enough cards to play in his favor that if he played them correctly would win him the election. But he is playing them all wrong. Really, I don't understand what it is you don't understand and nothing I wrote had anything to do with whether or not the government should be in healthcare.

Hmm. I still don’t understand the debate. Government has NO business in healthcare.

So in your mind the president isn't allowed to speak on a health crisis? That's an ignorant position not supported by the constitution but okay.

It's not an ignorant position. The Government should get the hell out of healthcare.
Trump can do something like repealing medicare & Medicaid.

Repealing medicare and medicaid would require Trump to speak about healthcare. So yes. It's an ignorant position. The president speaking about something isn't the same as getting the government involved in it.

Uh, first of all, you may have the relatively correct context, but the media took it completely out of context. He was asking a doctor who is researching injecting UV light into the lungs if they were also looking at injecting any other type of disinfectant.

The media spun that into "Trump is recommending people drink bleach and shoot up lysol" and people believed it.

Second of all, why do you think injecting a disinfectant into the lungs is necessarily a bad idea and shouldn't be looked into? Josh made a thread about doing just that months ago.. I think it's a great idea.

They already have it..

It's called the Healight. That is what he was asking the doctor about. This is what that doctor was researching. The fake news should tell you that, but they are too interested in bullshit gotchas. Don't get your news from the fake news. Ever.

This issue will be forgotten in 2 weeks. It certainly won't be an issue 27 weeks from now. Of all things that will sway the votes of independants, this will be at the bottom... in my opinion.

Again, that isn't what happened.

I think after this post 100% of the OP will be debunked, correct me if I'm wrong.

Trump didn't say they shouldn't re-open businesses in Georgia. He was specifically talking about hair salons and tattoo parlors which cannot maintain the social distancing guidelines during Phase 1. But he is letting the governor decide, so from a liberty standpoint I don't see a problem.

What the Governor could have done was allow those type of businesses to open, but in counties that are having problems with the virus, they could make a strong recommendation those businesses do not open until Phase 2. Trump probably would have been happy with that, and I think even Birx would be satisfied if they re-opened them on a county by county basis rather than statewide since some areas are having more problems than others.

You make valid points but I still feel that Trump will win reelection.

I debunked all of his points.. which points were valid?

The only point you can make, is that retarded people were confused by the bullshit fake news and now they think Trump was suggesting that people drink bleach and inject lysol.

That point was not made in the OP at all, in fact he said the opposite, he claimed that it was not taken out of context.

I don't know if you could find one correct statement in the OP.

If I were Trump I would not care if I was elected again or not. Everything he says is at least twisted. We have idiots like my sister who think Biden would be the best choice and people like her control the msn. WTF I would not blame him at all if he throws it it must be tremendous pressure and at some point I guess he could think it is not worth it.

Why would Biden be the best when he has a Green Deal in mind and could ruin more jobs?

LOL. The disinfectant that had just been talked about was NOT hydrogen peroxide and Josh's link is NOT about "injecting" hydrogen peroxide. Nice try though.

Edit: And here's the actual video. As soon as the doctor was asked to clarify he made it clear that he wasn't talking about injecting isopropol alcohol or Clorox into the lungs. Those were the disinfectants being asked about and NOT hydrogen peroxide!

Josh's link is about injecting hydrogen peroxide into the lungs. It's not the best word to use, ya, maybe Trump picked the wrong word, but he didn't say anything wrong, he was asking doctors about what they are testing, not telling people what to do.. and YOU fail the nationally administered IQ test.
