Is Brit Hume retarded?

I watched this with my gf's neo-con mom. I walked into the house when RP started speaking, so I hadn't heard the other's answers. He did look pretty foolish, given that, and I said that he was commenting on the overarching policy rather than the particular question. I haven't seen the others' answers, but I imagine they justified Ron's rhetoric.

Did he really not understand RP's answer about Iran? I mean several other candidates had just spewed some inflammatory remarks regarding Iran. That really pissed me off. Huckabee's gates of hell comment was ridiculous. McCain's Burka comment ditto. The point we did not blow those ski boats out of the water is irrelevent. Does any one know how close our Navy vessels our to Iran? Here we are with enormously large and expensive warships directly off Iran's coast and we act as if they are the aggressor in this situation? We could have blown those little boats away in one second.

Here's a video of the incident

Loser

When you blatantly try to make one of the candidates look stupid, ("Congressman Paul...what are you responding to?").......then you have lost credibility. How can you call yourself a "moderator".

Forest Gump was considered retarded...and he was smarter than most and likable..... so calling Brit Hume retarded is a slap in the face to the retarded. Brit Hume is far worse off in the realm of the intellectually stupid...he is a

Fat and ugly Michael Moore might actually be more retarded than brit. Afterall he hasn't said a damn thing about machine voting. I guess his govt. paycheck is pretty good.

I was very disturbed by a moderator being so blatantly demeaning to a candidate. I think the part that most disturbed me was the first question directly addressed to Paul had nothing to do with policy, but instead focused on fringe elements in support of him. Would you ever hear a question posed to Hillary asking "We noticed that some of your supporters are from the "Commie Pinko party". Do you believe these views Mrs. Clinton?"

The questions posed to RP were very poor. "Would you support a gov't program to help the economy?" "Do embrace the 9-11 truthers' message or would you tell them to abandon their position tonight?" "Regarding electability, do you have any?"

Dr. Paul had to force Cameron to let him comment on the coalition debate after answering his lame gov't program question. He had to push to be allowed to respond to McCain's trading with Al Queda quip (he should've done the same to Romney's snide remark about Ahmadinijad). Ron couldn't hear Brit's moralizing response to the Iran thing -- did they have the sound turned down on Ron's speakers? It was clear that he couldn't hear it (he was holding his ear to hear better).

The Fox News guys are a joke. They seem to think that they have a moral responsibility to make decisions about the nomination process and have an inflated view of their own importance. Brit Hume's attitude, look, and tone when asking RP what he was responding to was condescending and completely out of place. Who is he to take that tone with one of his elders who is intellectually and morally superior? If Brit had been listening instead of waiting for a chance to try to make RP look bad, he wouldn't have been such an ass.

Britt Hume's eyes are hollow and its like, "there's nobody home". Do you see how his mouth just hangs there like he is some kind of Botox surgery screw-up? The flat affect of his face is disturbing.

LMAO :D

I found it insulting that he'd take that appraoch

It's okay FAUX. Keep lifting your viel.

Actually, it was the 2nd question posed to Dr. Paul. Not only was it asking about the views of these supporters, Cameron was pushing for Dr. Paul to tell these supporters to abandon their position. Ron was right in saying that it isn't his job to tell them what to believe. But, Cameron kept pushing and Ron pushed right back, politely, in order to move from this stupid question to the relevant debate about the Reagan coalition.

Britt Hume is a Demeaning NEOCON POS!

I just hope, someone in MSM does a detailed investigative piece of FAUX's HORRENDOUSLY TAINTED GOP debate.

I wonder what foreign corespondents think, like the BBC & Der Spiegel of the FOX FIASCO?

The man can't help his age, but those hollow eyes are something "other world."

Are the eyes the portal to the heart, the brain or both?

THEY, were successful in making a mockery of Ron Paul.

The sad thing was, Ron Paul was absolutely right.

One guy is talking about sending them to the gates of hell, another talking about meeting their virgins...And Ron Paul, says we should show caution, a couple of speed boats VS a warship? We could wipe those out in a couple of seconds....

Then the moderator says "their answers were PASSIVE???"

Are you kidding me? Gates of hell and say hello to the virgins is passive???

Ron Paul has had a great Position on Iran!!

Brit Hume finds all the response "Gates of Hell", "Virgins", "people wake up" as passive response!

Youtube of this incident should be promoted - it shows three things
- All other candidates are war-mongers
- Ron Paul has the control/balance to make good judgement
- Media (specially Foxnews) at it's normal/passive response level supports War-mongers

This (Iran) issue is one where Ron Paul has had a great position/clips. When everyone else (candidates, Bush, Media) was going after Iran before NIE report, Ron Paul's position/response was simply great! His position was later more than justified/vindicated by NIE Report. This alone should bring most, if not all, 70% of Americans that oppose Iraq war in his camp!
