I'm sure this has been asked before, so please direct me to the correct thread if one exists....but....
I'm seeing a ton of liberty proponents featured on the Russia Today station. On the one hand, I'm stoked that there is professional(-ish) media paying attention to the cause and to Ron Paul's campaign. On the other hand, I see a HUGE potential for the campaign and all of us being painted as anti-American by the neocons and others, for catering to foreign interests. The potential argument would be that Russia's government naturally wants a weaker central government in the U.S. therefore it supports candidates that are for limiting government. IF THAT WERE the case, which I'm sure it isn't, the Russians would have made a poor bet since they'd be supporting the one guy that can provide us with both liberty AND security. Nonetheless, this all just seems ripe for a scandal should Dr. Paul begin performing well at the early primaries.
Has anybody else had similar concerns, thoughts, solutions?
