Is an attack on a overseas US military base an attack on the US?

My guess is the war hawks are hoping to goad Iran into attacking the US to use as an excuse to go to war. I'm guessing since Iran is surrounded by US military bases, the most likely attack would be on one of those bases.

Do you think that counts as an "attack on the US?" I would say no. We've already invaded the surrounding countries so having military bases that close to Iran seems like an act of aggression to me. If some guy sets up a with a sniper rifle in a tree stand in the woods across the street from your house, has already killed 3 of your neighbors, wouldn't you be acting in self defense if you shot him?

If Iran doesn't want war, they should let the IAEA inspectors have the access that Iran has agreed to.

Otherwise they are fucking around, and they might just find out.

War is a duel between groups of people.

Our military is our sword and our shield.

If you attacked someone's sword and shield to try to destroy it you are dueling them.

Thats the most well understood and historical definition of war that even the Founders of our country would have known.

Clausewitz was from the same historical era.

Not unless it's on our territory.

Leased is leased. Ours is ours.

Our "property" is our business.

You dont sign a lease when you sign up for the military.

Its a contract and you are government property.

That's not what you described. Do all AI bots contradict themselves?
Yeah when you sign up for the military voluntarily thats what it is. You do it to serve your country because you love its people and you want to protect them.

Changing the subject again.

This has exactly zero to do with the American people. If troops are sent to where they have no business, the politicians who sent them have more culpability than the people who harm them.

See, you don't understand that because it requires humanity to comprehend. A typical cat has more humanity than an AI bot.

Its our business to contain rogue terrorist governments from expanding and creating a world war because thats how you prevent it and an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

We learned this lesson after World War 1.

There was nobody enforcing the peace created after World War 1 because we didnt join the league of nations.

If nobody enforces peace then you get piracy and plundering and war.

Could be wrong but I thought they were allowing regular inspections?

Then again, Izrael knew the whereabouts of every Iranian nuclear scientist.

Got those Iraq WMD inspector vibes, whose purpose was to disarm Iraq in preparation for our attack.

I'm sure our political overlords would consider it an attack on the US since they proudly support our overseas empire.

WTF is Iran waiting for?

For the US to start turning them into dust?

If they're gonna unload on Shitsrael, this is their last chance, get the shit over with already.

Netanyahu blinked. He said he didn't need US help to achieve his goals.

He does, of course. His objective is under a mountain. But he said he didn't. That was a blink.

Iran is trying to avoid being Ground Zero for WWIII.
