Well, he was right.

The feds were all set to immunize him against any future charges in exchange for an inconsequential slap-on-the-wrist "plea deal".

But being the unimpressive people they are (and expecting others to be just as unimpressive as themselves), they failed to account for the possibility of the judge calling "bullshit!" on their shenanigans.

Well, he was right.

Of course he was "right"!

After Hunter’s plea deal was cancelled by the judge, Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed David Weiss as special counsel leading the case against Hunter Biden.
Weiss' first action was to ask the judge to dismiss the 2 “misdemeanor” tax charges, which the judge approved.
