IRAN WAR late summer or early fall

I very much doubt it. I don't know how many of these internet rumored war with Iran deadlines has passed since last year. The public is already war fatigued. It would be political suicide for "them" to start another one.

Cheers

Political suicide?! As if Bush, Cheney & Co. have anything to lose really? They're all leaving the White House in half a year and will retire on all the dirty wealth they've accumulated. None of them will ever attempt to run for public office again, so what difference does it make to them.

I agree with most people here though, a strike will first come from Israel and the U.S. will come to its aid after an Iranian retaliation. Another possibility is that after a naval blockade is put up against Iran there will be some incident with a loss of American lives that the administration will use as a case for war. I certainly hope you all are ready to go out and protest. I will be in front of the U.S. embassy protesting as soon as anything happens.

I doubt we'll see the U.S attack Iran now. Too much dissent in the ruling classes.

Now Israel attacking Iran, that's still a possibility.

+1 But i also that think our government is controlled by Israel, i might be wrong but just a hunch... :p

and if israel attacks iran, usa will immediately go to its aid. what really needs to get done is the Zionists living in America need to be booted from government, hopefully without people calling it "racism". seriously though, hasn't enough young American men died for Israel already>? let them fight their own battles.

WE LOST 20 AMERICANS This week alone... "The SURGE IS WORKING!" Shove that up John 'AIPAC' McLieberman's Derriere!

Another $160 BILLION voted for war & death by CONGRESS... shove those 20 names down their throats and have CONGRESS choke to death on them! It's the only death that's a NECESSITY in this country.

I just read on the news that Iran is digging 320 000 graves near the border for enemy soldiers. Doing so the general Mir-Faisal Bagherzadehin said that it's to ease the suffering of the soldiers' families.

Good one Iran :D

That's a lie just to rile up folks into war-mode. Where did
you read that?

Yeah and what good is "ammo" going to do for you when the military and police are out patrolling your neighborhood with tanks, grenades, and automatic machine guns with the full backing of the U.S. Airforce? Don't get me wrong I understand the whole ammo/gun thing but nowadays for "us" to be able to survive we are going to have to talk military members into taking over jets, machine guns, tanks, etc. for use by the revolutionairies. What are the chances of your neighbor's boy and your son saying fuck the U.S. government I'm gonna turn this tank around and protect the American people?

Well, obviously I dont have a fleet of ships, an Air Force, or an Army. However that would be a cool thing. Seriously, I'll take out the looters and gang bangers that decide to roam wherever. You cannot possibly have soldiers patrolling every steet corner in every city of the country. Hell the police force abadoned New Orleans after Katrina when they saw the lawlessness overwhelm them.

here's a link to the grave digging.

Thanks for the english one.

I dont blame Iran for this one, I think that's actually pretty cool :D They're really showing off and doing it in a great way (graves being part of the Geneva Convention)

I cant stop smiling :D This is such a brilliant way to showoff. All the Russians are doing is flying their aeroplanes into our orbit, wheres the imagination in that? But digging 320 000 graves for dead enemy soldiers, haha. Genius.

From Horse's mouth:

Iran 'digging 320,000 graves for invaders'
Sun, 29 Jun 2008 19:57:34
Brigadier General Mir-Faisal Baqerzadeh
A senior Iranian commander says the country is digging some '320,000 graves' in its bordering provinces for future slain invaders.

Brigadier General Mir-Faisal Baqerzadeh, the Head of the Foundation for the Remembrance of the Holy Defense, said Sunday that the decision had been approved by Iran's Armed Forces Headquarters.

"We will dig 15,000 to 20,000 graves in each of the border provinces," he said.

"We do not wish the families of enemy soldiers to experience what Americans had to go through in the aftermath of the Vietnam War," added Brig. Gen. Baqerzadeh, who is also the head of the search committee for missing soldiers.

The commander said the preemptive measures would decrease the time slain soldiers would be 'missing in action'.

"The burial of slain soldiers will be carried out decently and in little time," he continued.

Baqerzadeh added that the decision is in line with the Islamic Republic's commitment to comply with the Geneva Convention and the additional protocol regarding wartime cooperation between Iran and the Red Cross.

from above link said:
[These comments] came as Israeli officials spoke of their determination to prevent Iran developing a nuclear capability at all costs.

A former head of Israel's Mossad foreign intelligence agency said in comments published on Sunday that the Jewish state had one year to destroy Iran's nuclear programme or face the risk of coming under nuclear attack.

Shabtai Shavit told a London weekly that the "worst-case scenario" was that Tehran would have a nuclear weapon within "somewhere around a year".

"The time that is left to be ready is getting shorter all the time," he told the Sunday Telegraph.

Israel is the only, if undeclared, nuclear armed power in the Middle East.

The "grave digging" may be a smoke screen for defensive fortifications and other hasty military construction.

Keep an eye on the organs Iranians.

Are we sure they aren't digging those for Iranians? The human wave attacks and mine sweeping of the Pasdaran and the Basij didn't work so well for them in the past.

I'll holiday in America.

Your dollar will be on parity with the Peso.
