I wasn't sure what you meant, but I sent you a reply. For our purposes, right now I'm talking about securing an area apart from the straw poll.

Here are some links to threads where the idea of an event with bands nearby the ames straw poll is discussed. Like many threads, there's a lot of fighting about
what should be done and whether it should be done at all. I'm of the opinion that we should have a place nearby the straw poll - the "a certain location" that you mentioned in the email.

What seems to be happening, grassroots wise, is of course, your voter id calling, which is clearly going full steam and going well, and also grassroots TV commercials,
people are coming to Ames even if the campaign doesn't want them there to work, and people are talking about a concert event. All of these various projects could be benefitted by a grassroots headquarters.

And I'm saying "we should do what rp08orbust wants". So the question is, what do you want?

I was contacted by Steve B. from the campaign in Iowa today. He gave me a list of people to call, and a script. I asked him what the demographics of the people on the list would be, and he said that some of them were potential Ron Paul supporters inditified by robocalls. I can only imagine this is rporbust's work! (and if not, it would indicate to me even more that the campaign in on their shit).

Based on your information, I would argue that giving rporbust $$$ is practically equivalent to giving money to the campaign. his info is being used by the official campaign. The phone calling the official campaign is having you do is based on rporbusts work. In order for you to do the official phone calling, which is what you want to be doing, you need to feed the system with new numbers and rporbust is the one feeding the system with new numbers.

If this could be automated and the price lowered to a fraction it would be useful down the road for all states.

Is there a way to know if some of the votes/identified people are duplicates. For instance they answered Ron Paul in the cell phone call and the same person answered in the landline call as well? Probably not very many of these, but I'm sure there are a few in the bunch. I guess it doesn't have names associated with the phone numbers in the list in order to cross reference cell phone supporters vs. landline?

I am feeding the campaign with new supporters, but I know from Steve that the campaign has been doing their own robopolling (which is standard GOTV practice) using conventional voter lists all along. The way to know if the numbers you were given to call are based on my latest work or theirs is whether you were given names. Since my change in strategy, I will be providing Steve with nothing but lists of telephone numbers.
