I really would like to have a discussion of this. I put a lengthy discussion of this matter in a post which was deleted.
I think it's a pretty good conversation to be having. rporbust has a good system, and people should want to know what it means, technically, if they're contributing to their own cap by buying a set of numbers and giving them to the campaign. I suspect that rporbust was having troubles with his own cap. But I don't know.
Because why it is now being called "selling you numbers" and not "contributing to phone banking" is unclear. What is clear is that a new system has been developed and I'm wondering why there's a new system.
I'm not being critical, I just think that this is an opportunity for learning. What rporbust is doing seems to be efficient. Depending on its overall effectiveness, it could be done in other states.

None of this makes sense to me. Why must anyone buy the numbers? Why can't rp-bust simply conduct the polling and send the numbers to the campaign via email or anonymously in the mail. What is the difference if I happen to know 20 people in IOWA who support Ron Paul and give those people's numbers to the campaign to call...
