I had knee surgery abt 8 months ago. Didn't believe the Dr when he said I'd be off it for 6 weeks (and I wasn't, of course, but didn't tell him that), but you really will be off your feet. If you're like me, that's torture! But now I'm jogging and life is peachy. Ligaments? Good luck!

There ought to be at least 100 people in Des Moines interested enough to show up on their own. Add in another 100 from around Iowa, another 100 that may wander over from the IFTR forum, and another 100 out of staters, and you've got 400.

That's just a lower limit... I can't see it being any smaller than that, and it ought to be much higher.
