Thank God! I admit to experiencing more than a touch of angst over the last few days about the kind of effects the recent media smears might have on our man's polling numbers, but it looks as though it was unwarranted; this poll was conducted after the "Ron-Paul-is-a-crazed-bigoted-degenerate" mantra had been blaring at 100 decibels on most every major news outlet for close to a week, and the sliming doesn't appear to have had any effect. We need only keep the ship steady for a few more days now.

I was looking for what PPP had Paul at this time of year last time but looks like they sat the caucus out.

Again the women and folks over 65 are dragging us down...women got 19% versus men at 29%...folks over 65 only got us 12%....what's wrong with these people?

Those numbers are still rising though which is the important thing.If he can go up another couple % in those categories by caucus day it's all gravy.

I've been saying it for years, he's Teflon Ron. That's why I just stayed off of the internet & hit the phones while the whole "newsletter" fiasco was happening & everyone was having an apoplectic attack about how "Ron Paul's campaign is being destroyed" & all that noise.

I live in the middle of a black & Hispanic neighborhood, the only white people who live around here are Polish immigrants, & most people around here were not buying the whole racist BS. Even if they do think Dr Paul is a racist they for sure know that he wasn't being attacked in the MSM because of that. I even had this old black dude at the bar tell me "I don't care if that old cracker came out on TV wearing a KKK hood as long as he wants to end the War on Drugs & stop bombing brown people he's cool with me. He ain't gotta like me, he just gotta stop fucking with me." Obama is a joke around here & 4 years ago he was practically a demigod. The only people around here who still like Obama & can't stand Paul are the people who have jobs with the government & the trust fund hipster douche bags who like to live in neighborhoods like mine because it's some sort of ghetto sheikh thing.

To make a long story short, stop worrying about the MSM & their "smears" so much, fight it but don't let it get to you. It is not working, people do not trust them. Keep hitting the phones, keep educating those around you & keep away from their poisonous bullshit AS MUCH AS IS HUMANLY POSSIBLE.

I suspect that, given the low sample size of "very liberal" voters in a Republican primary, those are actually just Democrats voting for the weakest nominee. Those that are more moderate and thus more likely to switch over in the general election as well have made a different choice.

Mitt Romney and Newt are the most uninteresting candidates in the entire field. Its tragic Ron Paul has such a boring competition. I think it would be much better if it was #1 Paul #2 Cain #3 Perry while Romney should be last place for being a cookie cutter cutout with no opinions of any kind.
