Iowa Caucuses, high of 32*F temps

I hope Paul supporters in Iowa who are able will take the day off to offer rides and other assistance to other Paul supporters...

Yeah. 32 is warm for Iowa in the middle of winter.

That's the truth!! I know I've lived here practically my whole life. 32 degree weather is nice for Iowa... snow will melt and people will want to go out and go to the caucuses. Sorry if you were hoping for a blizzard it's not looking like it's going to happen.

The local Iowa tv station's 5 day forecast is predicting the night before the Caucuses it will reach a bitter cold of -4 degrees.

The day of the Caucuses predicts a high of 32, dropping to 10 degrees later on.

I know it's Iowa, but I'm thinking the cold may keep some of the older vote at home. Particularly some of those older church-goin' Evangelicals that might be inclined to vote for the Huckster, McCain, or Thompson.

This kind of weather works in favor of the die-hard supporters with a fire in their bellies. IOW... US! :D

excellent

Isn't 32 actually just a few degrees ABOVE normal for that area this time of year?

How do we know if bad weather helps anyway? What if theres a good amount of sympathetic paul supporters who have been contacted recently but just arn't devoted enough to go out in a blizzard?

Just throwing that out there.
