Interesting. No doubt there are actually people like that. Reminds me of a lecture I once saw. There was a Rabbi (can't remember his name) giving a presentation about Jewish history. His main point was that (as a generalization I suppose) the Jewish people have always been an urban people that prefer high density communal living, diversity and urban culture. He said that when Jewish people became farmers (mentioning the stereotype from Fiddler on the Roof), it was not by choice, but rather when they were forced to leave a given city. In essence, he claimed, as much as he can speak for a large diverse group, that they prefer the urban environment.

AI has no use for trees or vegetation. Sand is the way to go. I'm gonna buy up some land in the Mojave Desert to make nickels on the penny. Which in just a couple of years those nickels will be worth a penny. It's not so much an investment as it is a hedge. Wait... what's another term for hedge that won't be confused with vegetation?
