How old is your account? (new account get suspended easily, I got suspended 3 times in the first month).

How old is your account? (new account get suspended easily, I got suspended 3 times in the first month).

It's one year old, and I don't do anything that would trigger an auto-ban.

They emailed me this, but there is no way they could possibly believe I violated any of the rules:

Hello,
We understand that you're contesting an account suspension. Please be sure to read this entire email; you will need to take further action in order to reopen your ticket for your account to be reviewed.
If your account was suspended for aggressive following behavior, you should have received an email notification to the address associated with your Twitter account. Please reply to this message and confirm ALL of the following:
• You've removed all prohibited following automation from your account, and will stop any manual aggressive following behavior.
• You've reviewed our Best Practices page: http://support.twitter.com/articles/68916
• You understand our policies and will not engage in any prohibited following behavior.
If you received an email from [email protected] saying "You're being suspended" or that we're going delete your account, you're safe; the email is fake. More information here: https://support.twitter.com/articles/204820
If you're uncertain why your account was suspended, please respond to this message after reviewing the Twitter Rules: http://www.twitter.com/rules
While we strive to avoid mistakes, it's also possible that your account was suspended in error. If after reviewing the Rules, you have no idea why your account was suspended, just reply to this email and we'll review your case.
Thanks,
Twitter Support

Wow I've never been suspended but have been thrown in twitmo a few times for tweeting too much.

Lmao first reddit now twitter. The internet gods must hate you. Heres to another terrible 5 page thread. Cheers

If I had to guess, tweeting at the green footballs guy might have caused it. He is unethical and libs like him get their friends to mass report tweets which can cause an account to be suspended.

Is Twitter CEO suspending individuals for merely getting mass-reported? I asked Twitter: "I understand that I might have been the target of wrongful complaints based on my political or religious opinions, but would that alone be a violation of Twitter Rules? ... Which Twitter Rule did I violate?" They have not replied.

Either that, or maybe just statists, liberals, and government employees who would resort to coercion to silence information which they don't want aired.

I am fairly certain that no human being at Twitter is aware that you did a booboo and have been suspended.

Storm (event processor)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storm_(event_processor)

Storm is a complex event processor and distributed computation framework written predominantly in the Clojure programming language. Originally created by Nathan Marz[1] and team at BackType,[2] the project was open sourced after being acquired by Twitter.[3] It uses custom created "spouts" and "bolts" to define information sources and manipulations to allow batch, distributed processing of streaming data. The initial release was on September 17, 2011.[4]

A Storm application is designed as a topology of interfaces which create a "stream" of transformations. It provides similar functionality as a MapReduce job with the exception that it will theoretically run indefinitely until it is manually terminated.

Storm is used by many companies.[5]

Think of it as entering the Internets version of a voice mail hell system and trying to find a live body that actually knows how to help you.

DOWN BOY!

You did a booboo in twitters mind. You hit too many keywords or key phrases or someone you tweeted got offended and got a bunch of their friends to twitter bomb the complait dept w/ your name and message id. Software did the rest. Your suspended and if you are not a bot you will notice, write us and we will get it straightened out.

That's all that's going on here.

Why don't you type more carefully? Omit needless accusations?

They have not straightened anything out, even though I wrote them; and the system you describe, which may be the case, would make it too easy for factions to effectively censor information and opinions they do not want aired.

Hu??? - what did I accuse you of? Referencing too many links that offend the police state?

And maybe you are a pedophile? Since we are just speculating about each other?

Where the hell did that come from?

Exactly! - do you have any idea how many users they have? vs how many employees? Jesus! Of course this is automated!

Or maybe it wasn't a group of friends; maybe it was a group of people paid money to silence targeted accounts? And if Twitter CEO makes it so easy for random groups to silence targeted accounts, then how many tax dollars is the government using for exploitation of that vulnerability? It was not just any group of friends I was writing about; it was the U.S. DOJ. (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showth...tter-Feature&p=5226885&viewfull=1#post5226885)

When I asked similar questions about reddit, there was brandon and CPUd again, but no answers as to how many tax dollars.

I'm not knowledgeable to explain how it works but it seems to be automated.

@CBlackTX is on that page and I remember when he got suspended because liberal trolls gamed the system.

I agree, in the sense that enough complaints trigger an auto-ban. But this functionality is something chosen and maintained deliberately by the Twitter CEO. He is responsible and deserves to be held accountable.

And people, even on RPF, have been completely and utterly conditioned to assume that none of these "trolls" are being funded by tax dollars.

There’s incredible potential from their standpoint, to take control of the conversation, to monitor, and to manipulate, the information flow which is frankly important both for democracy and for dictatorships. And what we’ve seen, just from the HBGary emails and others here and there, is that there’s a very endemic problem that’s going on that needs to be addressed as soon as possible. And it’s not being addressed by Congress.

Well to use Occam's Razor.... The overwhelming majority of Americans are hardcore statists; even those that don't pay attention to politics so paying them to do such things doesn't seem necessary.

If Occam's Razor is correct here, why did these things happen:
  1. Patent application title: Persona management system for communications
  2. Because the government has the monopoly on violence which makes it easier to do such things.

I don't fully understand. Am I wasting everyone's time by asking how many tax dollars are being spent to silence discussion of DOJ corruption threatening the liberty movement?
