Interesting article on why we lost New Hampshire

Seems to me like there was a lot of support. But we need to keep the negative "status quo" ads. People are screaming for change.

Interesting article, but the real reason is the American people are fucking stupid and deserve everything they vote for.

Also the official campaign has counted on the grassroots entirely to much, its become painfully clear Ron Paul doesnt know what he is doing. If he cant handle the planning of his own campaign he certainly doesnt know what he is doing to run this country.

I think the overall movement or revolution will be longer lasting if we the grassroots stays the course and is patient enough to start from the city, county, state levels then to the white house. other then that, this election is done.

The article seems to confirm what people here are saying...the campaign is inept and they aren't organized and the grassroots accomplished what the campaign wasn't...

In this case, though, the feedback was right. Paul's numbers spiked after he ran a simple ad slamming the government for invading Americans' privacy, but then the campaign moved on to media that stressed his army record, his pro-life views, and especially his yen for closing the border. The ads got slicker and slicker, and the numbers didn't move. The slickest ad, a Tancredoean cry against birthright citizenship and visas for terrorists, was a total flop.

Agree.

I think this is the biggest thing we need to focus on.

ignore this alien

I agree with the writer's point on the ad campaign. We should focus on 1 or 2 big topics and stay with those in the ads and prefrebly topics like Iraq where there is a major difference between him and the other canidates. The average American doesn't have the time or attention span to remember every little thing in an ad.

I just don't believe that NH is a libertarian stronghold anymore. I think our hopes were faslely set high because of the misleading state motto.

Even though most of the article was negative I think there is some strategic info on ad placement.

Does anyone know which ad the author refers to when he describes Giuliani as a methed-up Jackie Mason?

I think you are right. Maybe we are trying to undertake something too big. We might in the end have to start smaller then work to the white house.
