Initiative: Comparison Fact Sheet

Ok.. I've decided.. I think Santorum should be left out, but there should be one small sentence near the top with an asterisk: "*Rick Santorum will not be on the ballot in VA."

He isn't on the ballot in VA... The tradeoff is not worth it. I like it as is with that one small change I mentioned above.

We shouldn't spend much more time discussing the content; it's great. Once this is settled, it would be best if people who don't like the pamphlet to not fill up the thread with negativity, for that will not motivate people to donate.

i originally started this and it used to have cain on it ( that was actually a really good one) - other candidates have made their rounds as well as issues... santorum will not be on this - for the reasons already pointed out - not enough room AND there is just WAY too much bad stuff to fill up the sheet - it would force the sheet to lose any unbiased tone it may now have - there is no way to represent his take on the issues without him sounding like a neo Hitler.... in other words, the tradeoff between having him on or off is a no brainer - he is off and won't be placed on PERIOD ...... we really thought he would have quit by now as well... only reason he is still around is because of the timing of his bump in iowa - he will fall out soon enough - keeping in mind the delegate count - he has an even WORSE chance than Gingrich to win

JasonC, just updated the VA version with your suggestion.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm really encouraged that the responses have been so positive. :D

Great! I'll send 5 or ten bucks towards the project in the next few days. I'm so tight on funds from donating to the campaign and Thomas Massie's campaign.

I think its too cluttered with santorum on there. We won't be using that version with our project.

Is there a way to put it in the header space in very small disclaimer print? I like the original, too, but this may alleviate any concerns of those with the opinion of adding Santorum. Either way you guys decide, I think it's a great idea.

small disclaimer on the second sheet.. wouldnt hurt. I wouldnt mind that

I did notice everywhere I put that tag it seemed obnoxious and out of place, just like the real Rick Santorum :p

I updated it again, tried fitting on the bottom part of the second page, tell me if that looks better.

In the header or footer.. small print. I think that would be good. I'd update any new versions in the first post in this thread, though. Most people on the forums don't read through pages of replies to see what's going on, so remember to keep updating the first post as necessary.

This looks great. Love the graphic for the Federal Reserve! Actually quite interesting to see how the other candidates have (at least pretended) to come round to Dr Paul's view on that issue.

Thanks FreeEnglishman, I was hoping people would get that graphic. :)

That Santorum info was still bothering me, so I changed it to a footnote.

Heck yes! Great job.

(Wish these were direct-mailed out instead of the "Super" Brochures.)
