Initiative: Comparison Fact Sheet

This is definitely legit - i am a district organizer for the ron paul campaign here in VA under Chris Stearns. I am also asst organizer of http://www.meetup.com/ronpaul-30/ we've been posting, revising, editing and canvassing with these comparison sheets since the first iteration was distributed at the Value Voter's Summit in DC 8 months ago. We canvassed with these in IA and NH and have begun in VA now and have sent these out to other activists groups via FB and meetup. Previous revisions were sent out to Cindy Lake in NV for one, if anyone wants to confirm. You may also contact Rachel Kania at Ron Paul HQ in Springfield VA about the Arlington/Alexandria meetup activism. If anyone wants anymore proof, please email [email protected] or friend "RonpaulforlibertyDC" on FB and i'll forward more information if requested.

FEDEX KINKOS Quote was $1400 for 20,000 sheets. I'll check out two other places tomorrow. Once we put the order in, it should be ready in one week

like i said you can make whatever excuse you want as to why santorum isnt there. but it communicates a biased print as soon someone sees it. they might not know whats wrong but they'll feel it.

Santorum is not qualified to be on the list. He is anti-America and anti-Tea Party.

This seems like a great idea, and I don't think Santorum should be on there. I'm with Lightweis on this..

Chainspell, you've made your point. Can you please stop trolling the thread now. If other people share your concern let them chime in, but I had to read through a bunch of your posts stating the same thing just to read this thread.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums but have been actively reading them for the last few months and have been a long time Ron Paul supporter.

First off, I just want to give credit to Lightweis for his great idea to create comparison sheets (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showth...NWIDE-AND-VIRGINIA&highlight=comparison+sheet).

I thought it was a really effective way of contrasting the candidates for voters that are leaning or undecided, and almost anyone can print them out. So I decided to create my own version of the fact sheets, hopefully to make them more persuasive, and a bit easier to read. I based most of the text on Lightweis' version, but I heavily edited it and added points that I thought were important. I also created some illustrations and tried to design it to make it look more like an infographic.

Here it is: http://www.scribd.com/doc/80191879/Candidate-Fact-Sheet

I also have a B&W version if you guys would like me to post that. I'd be happy to take suggestions and make changes or different versions, so please tell me what you guys think!

Edit: VA version: http://www.scribd.com/doc/80275158/Candidate-Fact-Sheet-VA

Chip-In link to help Lightweis distribute these in Virginia: http://paul4prezalexandriameetup.chipin.com/ron-paulva-comparison-sheet

Syntax, this looks AWESOME.
Great job you guys.

yeah - now if we can get people to chip in that would be great - here is the link again: http://paul4prezalexandriameetup.chipin.com/ron-paulva-comparison-sheet

just so you know, i've already maxed out to the campaign and another thousand to revpac as well as chipins on 3 other ron paul initiatives... we should all participate and support any initiative that will have an impact, such as this - if you can't help out, please share the link and the literature with people who can help out, or has a social network to distribute through, or can print and canvass on their own

these pamphlets REALLY rock and we have already had people say it swayed them BEFORE syntax added the graphics! imagine what these babies are gonna do! please share!

where's santorum? you have to have santorum in there, unless he just dropped out

Agreed. If I handed this out to an informed voter they'd suspect bias. And we Paul people know all about that.

Having said that I believe a Fact Sheet would be a very effective tool.

meh.. Idk.. a lot of good content would have to be removed to add in Santorum, or the fact sheet/comparison would have to be made larger and thus more expensive.. It's a tough call, but I am now starting to lean towards making it seem as unbiased as possible.

Santorum will not be added. We've already said that numerous times

Great sheet! I've been looking for something like this to hand out. I'll be using it. Thanks!!!!

I have spoken with the meet up folks involved in this... I think it is legit

I know my post count here is low (I'm a regular at DailyPaul) but I wanted to vouch for the legitimacy of these guys. I campaigned with them in NH. I'm sure they'll put these fliers to good use. Here are some pictures to show I was actually in NH:
