Since the sound-bytes picked by media distort the message, and since our strength is in the truth, depth and coherence of Ron Paul's position, campaign needs to create a 15-30 minute infomercial, with Dr. Paul talking and showing charts, then test run it in Florida, prime time couple days before primary. It should not be bragging about self, but presenting the situation and the direction where he wishes to take the country.
Another form of infomercial would be a documentary with a third person voice over going over key positions and Dr. Paul's track record, displaying our enthusism, numbers and statements from ordinary folks. The key impressions on the viewer would be -- this makes sense and there is a huge ground swell, an irresistible tide of support. This form of the infomercial can be done by supporters without involvement of the campaign.
These kinds of infomercials worked great for Ross Perot who lead the field for a while (until dropping out of the 1992 race for personal reasons). Their main advantage is that they reach middle age and older folks, who don't go on internet (or who use it only for email), which is our weakest demographics.
