Industrial Hemp and Ron Paul.

Two tablespoons of hemp seed have 11 grams of protein and all essential amino acids, and two grams of omega-3 fatty acids, the daily amount recommended by the National Institutes of Health. It also has a near-ideal one-to-three ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fats. Studies have linked an imbalance of essential fatty acids in the Western diet -- too much omega-6, not enough omega-3 -- to a variety of health problems.

In addition to that, it's probably too healthy to allow us free access--kinda like they don't technically allow the sale of Stevia as a "sweetener," but rather as a food substance. Imagine the impact of just two tablespoons per day on big P.

I actually saw and bought stevia just a few weeks ago next to the Sweet and Low's and Equals, and Splenda's at Walmart. The packaging calls it a "dietary supplement". They had it in the same single serving packets like the other sweetener's. First time I have noticed it there, as opposed to looking for it it the health food stores or vitamin sections. It was rather expensive but beats the heck out of slowly poisening yourself with aspartame, etc. Looks like they are finally allowing it to be introduced to the mass population. Bout time.

Sorry for the off subject post....................

A lot of people don't realize that hemp is NOT marijuana, likely including most senators and congressmen.

So true. This is the same thing as most American's not understanding that the Federal Reserve is not a government entity but rather a private bank.

(sorry had to stick that dig in there) :D
