I am pleased to announce that we have set up a grassroots headquarters here in Indianapolis! After 2 months of scouting and communicating with various property owners in my area, a local video studio has offered up their space to provide the grassroots a location to operate from! We will be able to host up to 100 Ron Paul supporters for weekly meetings, debate parties, and other activities here in Indiana!

Initially, we will be hosting the Indianapolis Meetup group every week, alternating Wednesdays and Thursdays. It is my hope that having a headquarters will help us attract more supporters to get involved.

There are two major initiatives happening in Indiana right now:

Ballot Petitions
We need at least 500 signatures for each district in order to get Ron Paul on the ballet in Indiana. If you would like more information for your district, please PM me.

Delegate Initiative
We are trying to identify Republicans in Indiana who want to be delegates. We have an upcoming meeting to provide details. This meeting will be invitation-only, so contact me if you would like an invite! I'll be standing in as the 7th District coordinator. If you would like to volunteer as a coordinator for a district, also be sure to let me know so I can point you in the right direction!

Outside of those two initiatives, our headquarters will be getting involved in the Phone from Home program and various video projects to help get the message out!

First Headquarters Meetup Time and Location

AWESOME! As someone who lives in Indiana, I am grateful to hear about this. We are collecting ballot signatures up in northern Indiana as we speak.

You Northern Hoosiers are rocking it, from what I've heard! Be sure to become a delegate and get a few friends/family as well! We'll need as many as we can possibly get. The Indiana Committee is ruthless!

I might travel up there for a weekend for a large phone from home party. Maybe bring a few people with me.

East Central Indiana checking in! :D

Where are all you people getting your petitions from? I helped gather signatures for Congressman Paul back in the fall of 2007 but haven't seen a source for them this time around. Would it be possible to have one sent in a PM to me? Thanks! :-)

How do they decide where to set up the headquarters? What type of space do they need? I may have some input for Central Ohio.

Fairmount/Gas City area?

This is awesome news!! I remember contacting the Republican HQ's here a few weeks ago requesting info on all things Ron Paul and they had NADA but assured me Ron Paul would be setting up camp in Indy shortly. YAY! Finally! I live in a high traffic area (can see my house from I-65 AND I live right across the street from a school!) and although I have yard signs and various stickers, I want to proudly display that big huge banner I've got my eyes on from Ron Paul's online store! /I] I read something about you need signatures to get him on the ballot...? What?

Keep in mind this is entirely grassroots. There is no campaign involvement here.

Yes, we still need to acquire 500 signatures in each district in Indiana to get him on the ballot.

This is great and so glad to see so many Hoosiers on board here is the link to the can-8 form and if you need instructions let me know or the OP http://www.in.gov/sos/elections/files/CAN-8__(2012A_revision).pdf. Also you must do the signatures by county and the name that goes on the form is Ron Paul. Please contact any of us as Indiana has to get busy on a few things in January even though our primary is not till May.
