First of all as an American let me apologize. I have quite a few Indian friends here in the states, some of them with friends and family in Mumbai and my thoughts and prayers are with them. Know that most Americans understand that this is a serious matter.

I will ask how you think India would have wiped out Pakistani terrorists if not for the US? Do you mean an outright war between India and Pakistan would have occurred if not for the US?

clearly you have no idea how india-pak relations evolved. pakistan is a failed state.india on the other hand is the world's biggest democracy,warts and all.
in terms of economic strength,pakistan has been left far behind while india is on its way to the glory it once had before british rule.

the US is interested in Pakistan ONLY because it borders afghanistan.the US is surrounded by client states like canada or puny ones like mexico unlike india which is surrounded by hostile neighbors.there can be no comparison.
india developed its nukes on its own unlike pakistani ones which were built by theft and subversion.the US administration pays billions to the pakistani authorities and they promptly spend it on ISI -the spies who train the LeT and other terrorist groups that attack india.if you recall,the CIA created Osama.so its clear how funding pakistan govt can cause unitended consequences.

agreed there is a political dispute about kashmir -but is there a reason for terrorist tactics to solve it?.pakistan is just a few years from total disintegration and thats why the US is worried as well.
i have nothing against pakistani people,but their spy agency and govt is a jihadi hotbed.
