I would have thought an April 15 money bomb would be themed the End the IRS Moneybomb, no?

believe it or not, that turns a lot of people OFF because they know it isn't realistic to do TOMORROW and can't think through transitions. We voted on the themes, though, and that was one of the choices. It does fit the day, I agree.

It is crucial that a chipin is set up to buy advertising on LewRockwell.com, FreeTalkLive and perhaps also Infowars. We also need to utilise Facebook ad and Google adwords. For every $1 spent on advertising by the grassroots, we will bring in so much more in donations to the moneybomb.

We need RonPaulForms, DailyPaul, RonPaulFlix, RonPaulCountry, RonPaul.com et al. to put up banners and send out emails about how to promote this moneybomb.

We need to get all the people with a large libertarian following onside. Tom Woods (Popular blog), Peter Schiff (Schiff Radio), Lew Rockwell (Podcast), Adam Kokesh (Podcast and YT channel), FreeTalkLive (Radio show) and all the podcasts listed here. This means a dedicated group of volunteers who make this happen. We need to reach the entire liberty audience, and beyond. We have to get this moneybomb everywhere for it to be a success. Posting about it on the "Ron Paul" and "Ron Paul 2012" facebook pages will not be enough.

Perhaps it would be useful to team up with RevPac in promoting this moneybomb (is that allowed?).

As soon as the chipin for orenbus to work on this project full time is complete, a chipin needs to be set up to raise funds to advertise this moneybomb.

Agreed with everything you said above, once we get assets available for some of the things you mentioned will have the promotion page up.

I don't think Super PACs can directly or indirectly be involved in fundraising for the official campaign, I could be wrong though but I don't remember them being involved in any of the previous money bombs.

Dave and I are currently brainstorming on logo design, if anyone has any ideas feel free to shout them out.

I was trying to work on a "thumbs up" with "In it to Win it" somewhere. I don't know if that is good for a logo, or not, but I think it will be fine for some avatars and the like.

Or the white house or Constitution on a medal, I don't know. I was thinking of complex pictures before I remembered logos are supposed to be simple.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but this is why I was asking about a graphical theme yesterday. Basically I was fishing for what direction you guys were headed with the sites design. The two avatars I made were essentially aimless. While I understand the logic of having multiple designers coming up with personal designs for things like Avatars & banners, having a clear theme in mind is also helpful.

We know the "In It To Win It Part," but there are several directions a designer could take that. Are you looking for something generic like the No One But Paul logo?

Do you want photographic?

These are just a few format options. When you add theme and color scheme to the mix the options can quickly become overwhelming. Please understand, I'm not trying to over-complicate the process. I'm simply trying to offer my expertise in a way it will have the most positive impact. :)

As far as brainstorm ideas, I'd offer Lottory, Runner, Checker'd Flag, Auto Racing, Trophy, Battle, Campaign Seat, White House, Presidential Seal...

I love photographic.....

But maybe 'generic' for the avatars because detail can't be seen in so many.... with photographic for banners....

or maybe some generic for small avatars.

My vote is photographic for taste, but usefulness is a requirement.

Sorry I missed your post yesterday, was tied up most of the day and getting back into the swing of this earlier this morning.

We're looking at generic symbol with text like NOBP logo, something easily recognizable regardless of size even at 48x48 that we can reuse as we did with the avatars and banners:

http://www.noonebutpaul.com/promote/#avatars

We have a few different ones right now we're kicking around many that include the brainstorming ideas you mention, nothing we're completely sold on yet which is why I was asking more for general ideas like the list you gave as opposed to approach. In any case appreciate the list, a couple of these we haven't considered yet.

If anyone has any other brainstorming ideas to add to the list would appreciate it.

^pretty much where I am too FWIW. I'd also like to add that something which can directly associate "IT" with "The Presidency" would be a big positive in my view as that underscores/reiterates the point of the "In it to win it" theme.
