- Attacks will be mostly useless in part due to increased distrust of corrupted media and immunization thanks to past smear attacks by same actors

- In current atmosphere, attacks by usual culprits like CBS, WaPost etc may actually further boost RP currency. NYT , having its journalist implicated in cooking up fake pre Iraq war yellow cake stiries may stay on sidelines to avoid further tarnish of repute of its dying media empire

- More and more people are realizing that much of traditional US media is controlled by scum and embracing alternative channels for information
