Impeachment hearings on CSPan momentarily

It is disrespectful that the chaiman is ignoring Vincent and having a conversation with that Mr. Smith guy who asked to have the room cleared because they applauded Bugliosi.

Mr. Smith needs to be added to the list of congressmen who have to go.

the dick behind the mic is calling those who are testifying against the president "demented".
Is he a psychologist? Has he interviewed those people? Are is he name calling in a hearing?

This hearing is almost a indictment against our current government structure and its respect to the constitution.

Yeah! Mr. Anderson pointed out that the standard for impeachment has nothing to do with if they acted for personal interestes or not. I noticed Prosser tried to set that up as the presumptive standard, and it's complete b.s. Glad Anderson called em on it.

arent the articles of impeachment against the pres, the VP and pretty much the entire administration?

Sounded like the terms involved would be applicable to most of the administration.

Now Congressman Smith is speaking.....so is Prosser.....time to puke.

What is the point of this hearing?

Is it for the panel to decide if there are impeachable offenses? If not why have it? Will the panel make any statements as to whether or not they believe there is cause for impeachment? As far as I know, they are forbidden from voting. So is this solely for the purpose of venting? If it is then it's a big waste of time.

Point? Pure propaganda and the illusion of "doing something".

Conyers said it at the start in his glowing recital of the historic "hearings" list.

:p

Dohmert, "It's time to quit blaming President Bush and move on"

This impeachment was designed as a preventative measure, not a punitive one at this time.

People had signs and the Chair compelled the staff to get rid of the signs or kick the people with them out. It looked like the dude in the camo refused to get up. More security was called. More audience members stood up to defend the guy in the camo. I heard a woman yelling at the chair that Bush is responsible for the murder of lots of people. Some people yelled stuff and left on their own accord. The guy in camo was escorted out by security. Someone took a picture which I'm sure will be on the inter tubes.
