Ron Paul should immediately issue a statement to the media and on his website re: Garry Kasparov, former world chess champion and current pro-democracy political opponent to Vladimir Putin. It will show that he supports the democracy movement in the former Soviet Union.

Then a press release should be sent to chessbase.com.

It is free exposure to a huge untapped demographic.

Chessbase frequently does political stories on politicians in any way affiliated with or supportive of chess. And they idolize Garry Kasparov as does most of the chess world.

Also a bit of a trap

Supporting Kasparov is also a bit of a trap for any candidate foolish enough to support or in any way defend Vladimir Putin.
 
I don't think RP has time for this kind of outreach. If he did have time to do international outreach I think he would find his supporters equally passionate abroad.
 
Kasparov is getting destroyed in the polls, probably shouldn't touch that one... I want an endorsement from Howard Stern
