This is the number one thing I am hearing and seeing on the internet right now, there is a large amount of people, that aren't so concerned with the wild idealogical differences, but they just don't want more of the same, the rationale is Obama never went far enough on the left, and the GOP base is just super angry.
Yet the other sides second choice seems to be the other sides populist that are polar opposites in some bizarro political world.

The people that have said Clinton will be the next President don't seem realize she has an army against her on both sides. I see little "Real" support for her on the net on all these different sites I post to, but there are many Bernie supporters. The videos have already started, once the General is on she is going to get steam rolled by all this stuff.

Funny thing is if Sanders is the nominee and the GOP steals it from Trump, Sanders wins easy.
If the RNC/GOP gets behind Trump, and it's Clinton she is done, I actually think she will lose Mondale style.

One's a borderline fascist the other's a Socialist.

Proof in the pudding what guys like Eric Hoffer said years back....that there was little difference in true believers of mass movements. That they tend to attract the same type of people, behave the same, and use the same type of tactical appeal.

I'm voting for Trump because I want somebody in office that will shut down the neocon's plan to drag America into war with Syria, Iran, and Russia.

In other words,..to stop WW3.

Trump said in the last debate that he would send 30k men and women to combat ISIS....so.....

You don't have to subscribe to the Neocons to start a big big war.

His basic philosophical foundations about the constitution and executive power and torture don't even lend themselves to me believing he wouldn't wage war against another nation if provoked

Funny thing is if Sanders is the nominee...

No danger of that. The Democratic Party has Superdelegates. Which is probably why the powers that be are trying so hard to kill the GOP--my how they'd love to replace that with something that also has Superdelegates. Then we'd be right back to the 'smoke-filled room'.

Uh huh. In other news, you're buying a Chevrolet because you want to shut down the light truck builders who are responsible for so much fossil fuel getting turned into carbon emissions.

im going with trump because hes not bought and paid for... its a 50/50 love/hate kind of thing.. more like anti-anti-trump... but im expecting some good to come of it.

They'll just find a way to spin that because they're already too invested in the Trump brand. I'm sure Lew Rockwell is already writing the article.

So, he usually buys and pays for politicians, but decided to become a politician himself because he suddenly realized he could cut out the middleman.

And this means his policies will differ from those of the politicians he used to buy and pay for because...?

Yeah, I thought not.

you make no sense.

is trump an unknown? yes.. could he be a disaster of course?.. will he be bad on personal freedom, most likely yes...

those at least would be more honest arguments.

He is not an unknown. We know, for example, that he has been bribing politicians to pass laws that screw us for his benefit since before you were born.

How is this a dishonest argument, again? Because it's bulletproof, and you can't possibly counter it?

If you want to dissect an invalid argument, let's delve into the assumption that the guy who buys and pays for politicians is somehow better than the politicians he buys and pays for. At least the politician might do something for his constituents in the event that his next brib--er, I mean campaign contribution doesn't come in in a timely manner.

I'm so sick of the fox bribing the dogs we set out to guard the henhouse that I say we let the fox guard the henhouse. No one can say for sure this will produce an undesirable outcome because never before in history have humans been dumbed down enough to try it.

LOL sign me up!

If I was forced to vote for any of the remaining mainstream candidates, I would vote for Bernie too because he's the least likely of them to lead us into war. He also wants to legalize pot, curb the overall drug war, eliminate mandatory sentences, not throw addicts in prison, do something about crooked cops, take a bite out of patent laws, and seems like an honest and transparent person even though I disagree with most of his political ideology. Larry David does also does an awesome impersonation of him on SNL and that almost makes it worth it by itself!

all true.. im hoping the good outweighs the bad

if coming into time to vote and this "the establishment hates Trump!!" business appears to be for real, I could vote for Trump.

if it's Sanders vs. Cruz or Rubio, I could vote for Sanders.

if its Hillary vs. Cruz or Rubio, then I'll either write in Rand or just sit this one out.

Something?

Instead of paying someone to screw us, he wants to screw us himself. You have to be seriously into celebrity to not mind bending over as long as that's the celebrity himself, and not one of his henchmen, who is behind you.

i am not into celebrity... never watched his damned show. originally i was equally skeptical of both ted and trump... but over time I feel trump is sincere while ted is a real liar.

of course id rather have Rand or some liberty candidate.. but its not going to happen this cycle..

who knows.. maybe Jesse Ventura will get in the race and Ill have to reconsider.. but if there are no new candidates ill stand pat

He allies himself with Christie (who would shoot down Russian planes in a no fly zone) and the Ghoul who loves to say nine eleven to every question. I admit a more cautious attitude is needed dealing with the bear and maybe Trump could deal like he has said before. As an egomaniac he probably would tell people what to do rather than be TOLD what to do.
