I'm on Yahoo Answers, giving advice to youths considering army/police. The cops/vets hate me.

So here is a student who need questions to ask his debate opposition. The topic is marijuana legalization. The student is for it.

I steer away from most of the homework questions, but this seemed like such a gimme for this kid to really make some good points. I'm also not into all the education, stay-in-school crap, but these kids really are getting a head full of nonsense.

I never really thought much about the "social contract." We were just presented this idea in school, without much analysis. Osan is the RPF member who clued me into to the six components of legal contract, so thanks to him for opening up this topic.

The "social contract" bootlickers are in full force on this thread.

He is pushing some people's buttons, but I wouldn't call it trolling. He is giving them what they want.

I absolutely love to argue with all the military people on there, but you're right because that really isn't my purpose. They label anyone a troll who simply disagrees with them. They act as if they own a forum on a global, publicly traded website.

So this kid is looking for advice to gain weight to join the military. I copy & paste my usual spiel against joining, and he ends up thanking me. Don't know if he'll take it to heart, but at least you have a captive audience.

Best answer provided only 10 of the 15 questions the kid was looking for. Unfortunate that the Iron Law of Prohibition wasn't worked into a potential question for debate. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_law_of_prohibition Perhaps also the cost burden of enforcement and incarceration on society. And perhaps the problem of the U.S. having a disproportionate amount of it's citizens incarcerated compared to other countries because of nonviolent drug offenders, could have been worked into a question.

Just some ideas, should the subject come up again.

I forgot jail. And I never heard of that Iron Law of Prohibition. Makes sense if you just think about it. Good stuff. Thanks.

Now it's getting really funny because the military boot lickers are starting to make nasty threads about me in the military forum. I guess you know you've made it when they all hate you! lol

So this former army major is accusing me of mental health issues. That is cyberbullying!

Thread title: "Is it any surprise that trolls like Michael have mental health issues?"

https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20160318214752AA0vHey

Thread title: "If you could eradicate one troll from the military section who would it be?
Armouror or Michael the Troll?"

https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20160406161033AAuRzbk&page=1

I'm Michael and Armourer is a British vet they can't stand. I won the poll!

So anyway, back to being more serious.

This is a high school freshman considering his future, looking for pros and cons of the army. My answer got a Best Answer, so maybe he reconsiders the military.

Here is the skewed homework assignment where the students are asked to make a law. They get so brainwashed by their progressive teachers that it never occurs to them to repeal laws.

Here's a person asking about vaccines for public school children. The misinformation about the unvaccinated not being able to attend public school is astounding. No doubt the medical establishment misinformation sinks deep.

Anybody want to join me on Yahoo? I don't really debate people much, so you save A LOT of energy. You're just talking with the questioner. They won't really argue because they are seeking an answer. If they do reply, then they thank you or award you a Best Answer.

If you want to counter some of the nonsense spewed by radical teachers and professors, then the sub-forum Homework Help https://answers.yahoo.com/dir/index?sid=396545134&link=list is a good place. I got more than a few Best Answers there:

Here's a girl seeking a feminism definition for an essay:

Here's a kid writing about slavery as his topic for the Civil War, but I tell him slavery was a phony reason. Hope his teacher has a stroke:

I might bet this kid's teacher is vilifying Herbert Hoover:

Etc, etc., etc.

Yahoo Answers is a semi-forum where users get answers to various life questions: legal, health, career, dating, parenting, pets, etc. The format is a Yahoo user posting a question and other Yahoo users posting an answer. Questioners have the option of choosing a Best Answer out of all the answers.

I frequent the sub-forums Law Enforcement and Military. A lot of students and people in their twenties ask questions because they are interested in being a soldier or cop. The advice I post is probably not what they expect because I post all the problems with police and the military.

The thing I like about Yahoo Answers is that you have a captive audience. The questioner is seeking an answer, so they will read your answer. I've actually gotten a few Best Answers.

I don't know if this actually makes a difference; however, if I learned that some student did not become a cop because he learned the systemic abuse, then that would be gratifying.

My posts are below, under user name Michael. The cops and vets hate me. The vets are not like the ones on Ron Paul forums.

--This high school student wanted to know what being a cop is like. She ended up giving me a Best Answer. Maybe she'll choose another career path.

--This kid is asking about the military. Read the comments. One vet always reports me because he thinks I sock puppet my own answers. The rest of them cuss me out. LOL

By the way, my answers are a little crude, but I've polished the language since then.

Fantastic answers!

I am sometimes surprised when you think someone is leaning toward joining the military, but then gives you a Best Answer for your post that totally opposes the military. This person was just talking about journalism and the air force. Her question was answered by me and 7 military people. Sort of gratifying when your minority answer is picked as the best one.
