Rick Perry "I'm a combination of Paul and Bachmann"

does this means that, when the garda-shill implodes, paul.and bachmann will share his voters?

...another perry-pander.

LOL! So he's a combination of Paul and Bachmann, yet he claims to be running because there wasn't anyone running he could get behind. Is it really necessary to debunk this guy? Part of me says that no one is going to buy this because he's so obviously faking it, but another part of me says that since he's the establishment's pick we need to attack on all fronts.

Let's count some of the ways he's different from Ron Paul.

1. Gardasil. This is the big thorn in Perry's side, and he's now saying that he didn't do the proper research or some such garbage. Well, Dr. Paul wouldn't have even considered mandating it in the first place because it's in direct violation of the free choice of girls and their parents to decide what to do. Even if it was a wonderful drug with no side-effects, Ron Paul wouldn't have mandated it. Since I'm the resident anti-psychiatry activist on this forum, Ron Paul's unwillingness to force drugs on kids is what originally led me to him. Sorry, Perry, but you obviously didn't get this from Dr. Paul.

2. Death penalty. Ron Paul is against the death penalty, although probably not for the same reasons I am, but it's better than Perry's potential status as Executioner in Chief. Granted, the death penalty is a state issue, not a federal one, but I think it speaks volumes for a man's character when he says that he loses no sleep over the deaths of all those inmates, and that he doesn't seem to care whether he executes an innocent or not. Once upon a time, people said that Al Qaeda loved death, but that Americans love life. Apparently, Perry should just join Al Qaeda.

3. No gold standard for Perry. He certainly rails against the Federal Reserve lately, but he doesn't offer one viable solution to the problem. Clearly, he doesn't read Mises or study Austrian economics at all. He should have taken my class on the subject!

Okay, there's the first three. Take it away!

and the take-away is?

although he is a Julie-Annie repuplican (he must've liked the mayor's drag performance at the grove), garda-shill perry is, now, gonna do his best impersonation of Dr Paul, just long enough for the suckers to go to the polls. then, you thought shrub and b.o. were bad? look out!

on the forced inoculation issue, it's essential to note that perry acknowledges only that his method was flawed: now that he has come under fire from his primary opponents, he wishes only that he had asked the texas legislature to make the mandate, instead of doing it through executive order, so that he could've passed the buck to them, the way he did with the recent texas TSA bill.
