Illegal 24/7 Search Without a Warrant Facial Recognition Surveillance in UK. Coming Here

The Constitution's 4th Amendment foresaw even this. Street and public area facial recognition cameras feeding garbage to cops constitutes nothing less than 24/7 search without a warrant on an entire population. A return to these Constitutional fundamentals is how this abomination must be attacked, or we become China, where people have no rights whatsoever.

This video looks like a creepy futuristic science fiction. People suddenly getting tackled by cops and hauled away.

Except it is real, right now in UK, and coming here if we don't stop it.

Biden’s TSA Facial Scans Take Center Stage: US Senators Warn Travelers That China-Style Facial Recognition Scans Are Out of Control, Strictly “Optional”

In a surprise display of agreement across party lines, a bipartisan group of US senators, nearly half of what is required to pass legislation, have challenged the TSA’s accelerated program of collecting facial recognition data which can identify people at a distance with street cameras.

Facial recognition scans are based on the kind of high resolution images which can be taken by any cellphone camera or the special equipment now being deployed by the TSA at airports. The technology gives facial recognition cameras the data they require to identify people going about their business in public, without them knowing it.

The system is a hallmark of the Chinese government’s total, 24/7 surveillance regime, in which the movements of every person except perhaps elites and high party officials are monitored, and all movements stored in a database.

Gizmodo reports on November 22, 2024:

“A bipartisan group of 12 senators has urged the Transportation Security Administration’s inspector general to investigate the agency’s use of facial recognition, saying it poses a significant threat to privacy and civil liberties.

The letter was signed by Jeffrey Merkley (D-OR), John Kennedy (R-LA), Ed Markey (D-MA), Ted Cruz (R-TX), Roger Marshall (R-Kansas), Ron Wyden (D-OR), Steve Daines (R-MT), Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), and Peter Welch (D-VT).”

Biometric Update reported on the same day:

“Senator Merkley’s advocacy resonates with Americans concerned about the growing encroachment of surveillance in public spaces, a fear that many Republicans share. While proponents of facial recognition argue that the technology enhances security, opponents contend that it sets a dangerous precedent. They warn of a future where constant monitoring becomes normalized, eroding the expectation of privacy in everyday life.”

Rand Paul [and me of course] have spoken out about TSA and want it abolished. This seems to have lost steam the past few years because people become complacent, and eventually accepting.

If Trump wants to dial back spending, this is one place to start - without repeal and replace, ELIMINATE TSA ONCE AND FOR ALL.

Billions of dollars are taken from innocent people each and every year by TSA Goons. Forms are filled out in order to recover taken/stolen items which are in turn paid by the tax payers which adds to the burden.

Next will be Domestic TSA which is already in the works - because once again, people have become complacent, and now accepting.

My guess is that facial recognition and AI is going to happen. You cannot stop technology. I am not advocating it. I think it would be like trying to stop the development of a skid steer, or circular saw. You cannot put the Genie back in. Even if lawmakers stop it today, it will be here tomorrow. Even if they say it is not here, it is here and will be here. Camera's work great for prosecuting those deemed to be bad but always falter when purported authorities are doing bad. Probably need to find a way to fight it while embracing the fact that it is not going away. I am glad to be old.
Look at it this way a private home owner thinks security camera's are good to protect their property, an anti cop person thinks video recording the police is a good tactic. Everybody at some level thinks there is value to catching the perceived bad person on camera doing wrong. Why wouldn't the authorities think it is a good idea. Heck private stores have had security cameras for probably 50 years. Anybody thinking that it won't find its way into mass surveillance is kidding themselves. In my opinion trying to stop it is a failed endeavor.
I am sure there have been cases where private security cameras have been used to incarcerate the owner of the private camera's. Just face it you will comply and live under duress.

Mindset of a slave, not the 3%.

With attitudes just like yours, of course there will be. The government counts on it, and thanks you for your service.
Yea that is rich.
So how do you propose stopping them?
Everybody been loving videos for last 20 years.
It certainly appears realistic that every move will be capable of being recorded.
Don't people brag about no expectation of privacy when in public?
Seriously I am all ears to hear your constructive way to stop Surveillance.

Constructive???

Well, the first thing that would be required would be to get "patriotic" Red-Blooded 'Mericans to stop thinking like you. I believe at that point, things would resolve on its own.

What do you think?

Oh yea! That will do it.
I am the problem.
That too is rich.
Really, I am waiting to hear how you stop it.
You are the guy with all the wisdom. Articulate your methodology or admit you are wrong.

:tears: Sure, I have all the answers.

I never have a problem admitting if/when I am wrong. In fact, I wish I was proven wrong more than I am proven right. At least that would be some indication that things are going in the right direction for a change.

For me, I try to stay clear of voting, government, cops, crypto, X[sh|tter], and do things old-school the best that I can, while educating by example, for what little that's worth.

If you are part of the problem... who am I to judge, maybe it's in your own best self-interest :handpeace:

That sounds like a Kamala Harris word salad.
How do you propose to stop total surveillance?
Are you saying you were wrong and you have no solution and it is inevitable?

Do you think that is realistic?
It is time to hear your proposal of an actual solution on how your ideology will stop the surveillance state.

When guns/2ndA is threatened, everybody gets flustered, rises up and defends/protects them to the hilt

When Covid jabs were being forced, a whole lot of folks said "no f&cking way"

When people got tired of being locked down, they eventually rejected Fauci and went outside anyway

When it comes to surveillance 24/7, strip searched, things confiscated at airports and other places, and actually demand "permission from the government" to get a job, the people are like "NO PROBLEMO, MAN!"

Sure, it's coming, and the "patriotic" Red-Blooded 'Mericans are indeed complicate. What else can I say?

There is no need to demonize me for simply recognizing that which is to be.
If there is a way to stop it please let me know. Speak now.
I simply said there is no way to stop it.

Don't take it personally nor take him seriously. Lots of us have tried being friendly with him. The only way he "debates" anyone is with marxist name-calling, vague and useless platitudes, and heavy condescension.

:tears: No, you have me all wrong. What you don't get is that I am a teddy bear at heart with an alpha personality who goes for the jugular to succeed and get what I want.

I think you've been so conditioned listening to the lgbtq crowd that you've grown accustomed to pillowy-dainty-talk that you forgot what bar-room talk among friends is like.

If/when I speak to you again, I'll try to tone it down and change my voice and sound like Pee Wee Herman, just to appease you... though I wouldn't count on me being too successful with that :tears:

Lol. This is more of your BS. I spent time in the Marines, been all over the world. I've worked some rough jobs in my youth. No one can insult me. I don't care. What I dislike is dishonesty. If you call me a neocon because I say something neoconish, fine. If you call me a statist as a dishonest manipulative technique, I will tell you to fuck off.

Also, I won't say something on line if I won't say it to someone's face. I would say all this to your face, and I know damn well you wouldn't have the balls to call me a statist to my face, because that's bullshit. So I have no respect for you.

As I said before, you don't offend me, but rather I see you as a "man" lacking any character or honesty. I have no desire talk to you. I try to avoid taking to you online, because I wouldn't associate with you in real life, and I don't want to give the moderator on this forum a headache.

Also, anyone with an "alpha personality" doesn't need to tell everyone.. This tells me that you are even more dishonest with yourself than others. I can't take you seriously. Now go wash your nasty black skinny jeans.

You got me, thanks for that, Doctor RJB :tears:

Now go wash your nasty black skinny jeans.

Will that stop you from continuously sniffing up my @ss? They're blue, btw, not black
