I'll be damned if Rush Limbaugh isn't sounding like Ron Paul today (12/17)

It is important to realize that people like Hannity and Limbaugh invoke all of these wonderfully conservative values only when they are attacking the Democrats. Hannity sounded like a Ron Paul supporter a few days ago. BUT, the very minute they are faced with the crimes of the Republicans they totally go into NWO propaganda mode. Parrots for the sacred "war on terror." etc. They are just doing their job of fighting for the "right" in the false "left-right" paradigm. NEVER will they step up and condemn both parties and their universal commonalities that preserve the elite power stranglehold and it's continually unfolding agenda.

You would not believe the number of Neo-Cons I have heard complain about how awful our country is becoming. Yet the second someone like Ron Paul is mentioned I have heard them openly laugh and brush him off as a nutjob. These people couldn't give a shit about America in the end. I remember a specific Neo-Con that absolutely dispised Obama for his Anti-Gun policies, yet changed his mind about him when Obama announced his support for the Iraqi war. Something we, Libertarian/RP fans, have been saying he supported all along.

Rush Limbaugh isn't really a neo con. At least not from what I"ve heard.

I don't listen to him that much, so maybe my view of him is skewed. But I've never heard him say anything endorsing the Iraq war. I've never heard him speak against it, either.

I did hear him say that he supported Buchanan over Bush in '92, because Buchanan is a "true conservative"--Those were his words. Note that Buchanan has the same view on foreign policy as Ron Paul.

He didn't endorse any candidate in this year's primary. He was against McCain in 2000 and against him from the beginning in this election.




Hannity, on the other hand, is 110% neocon.

I think rush might have said RON PAUL'S name twice during the campaign, but thats about it. RON didn't even get any kind of mention when he raised huge money...TWICE! Same goes for that idiot boortz. And they damn sure never let any supporters on the air and you know we were calling. In those days I heard alot of romney and mccain supporters.

As far as agreeing with much of the platform... Do they really? I have to wonder about that, when there was a man running for president that has stood with the Constitution from day one. RON PAUL has an impeccable voting record, never wavering for the love of money or trying to sell out the American people like most other dirt bag politicians, and they totally ignored him. If you were listening to them you would never have known RON PAUL was running for prez.

Looks like they chose their paychecks over Freedom.

So are many democrats. To be anti-nationalization in a supposedly free country is
not saying much at all. Rush is a pro imperialistic neocon with a microphone. You can't be a spokesperson for a smaller, fiscal conservative government and then be for the expansion of military conquests abroad, and monolithic antiliberty programs like homeland security and other intrusions at home. It makes no sense and is why Republicans are no better than the democrats on this issues of big government.
