If you missed Mark Levin tonight, you missed an awesome show

You could easily replace Levin's name with Beck, Hannity or Limbaugh today. I kept turning them on while I was driving around, and all I heard was Paul bashing. I think Hannity and Limbaugh were both hoping to kneel before the Grinch and get hosed down with a hot load of his many gravy, the way they were talking him up. I tried to listen, but could only take it in very small doses.

I'm so very pissed the station that played Jerry Doyle is now gone in my area. Now its some crappy spanish music.

I know, right? I read his book Liberty and Tyranny before I knew much about him, and thought everything he said was awesome. Then I started listening to him, and realized that he must be psychotic with the amount of cognitive dissonance going on.

I don't know how you got through that entire book. I picked it up right after it first came out, and I noticed that there were some PAGE LONG paragraphs. Heck, there were paragraph long sentences. I couldn't get past the first chapter. I forgot all about him until a few months ago when I came on this forum. I didn't even know that he had a radio show until then.

The man is vile, and to be perfectly honest, can't write worth shit.

The Free Talk Live Guys (Ian, Mark, and Misc. Host) were saying that Levin can't even get his show onto the radio by himself. The bigwigs at ClearChannel say that if a station owner wants Sean Hannity, he has to take Levin, too.

I'm listening to it now. RP could own his show and radio station over the kinds of things he's saying, pure slander.

Something else I remembered: Levin was whining like a toddler about the situation in VA, where only Romney and Ron Paul got onto the ballot. He kept saying that he was disenfranchised. So, Levin is mad because he can't vote for someone too incompetent to get onto a ballot, even though "looney, senile, crazy Uncle Paul" was able to. He said he has to vote for Romney now.

This whole schtick is so over the top. He's probably going to secretly vote for Ron Paul himself, but is embarrassed that he--the "Great One"--has been so thoroughly schooled by Ron Paul about liberty and tyranny, and so has to overreact and hope people won't catch on.

He's coming to the realization that his entire life is a worthless lie.. He's been adamantly wrong on most everything except when he's arguing Dr. Paul's case for him but is too stupid to understand it.

By the way. I thought there was a moratorium on Levin around here.

Those of us who heard it got to hear--live over the radio and in real time--a man slipping into insanity. He has a personal animus against Dr. Paul that can only be attributed to severe psychosis. The contemptible buffoon spent his entire first hour trying to trash Ron Paul, but the only tools he had on hand were lies and half-truths. He compared Ron Paul both to Hitler (a warmonger) AND Neville Chamberlain (a perceived pacifist).

He started out whining that "Ron Paul supporters" were writing critical reviews of his newest book on Amazon.com, then tried to be clever by saying he certainly wouldn't ask his "millions" of listeners to go on Amazon.com and have them trash Ron Paul's books. Later, he admitted that Amazon.com includes clicks on particular books--that is, not just actual sales--to rate their relative popularity. So...he tried to get his listeners to improve the rating of Ron Paul's books.

There was a caller who handled himself really well, arguing for ending the drug war, while Levin kept interrupting and changing the subject. The result of the call, of course, was that Levin declared himself the winner, since he got his straw men all knocked down, or something.
You are to be commended for having the werewithal to listen to Levin for any significant amount of time. However, like any bully, he thrives on attention. I'm beginning to think it's a bad idea to listen to these shows on the air. As I understand it, if you listen to your local station's live stream, the show won't get your ratings. Someone correct me if that's wrong. Anyways, if I'm right, just listen via the webbernet if you feel a need to listen at all. JMHO.

Never trust a guy whose favorite founding father is Hamilton. Should've been your first clue.

I listen to the radio while I'm driving around (I'm a courier), and it's either Levin or Crane Durham, and later in the evening either Levin or Lars Larson. Crane Durham's show just makes me upset, anymore, and Larson is doing his "Live from Israel" show, which I'm not interesting in listening to. At least I can laugh at Levin.
