Those of us who heard it got to hear--live over the radio and in real time--a man slipping into insanity. He has a personal animus against Dr. Paul that can only be attributed to severe psychosis. The contemptible buffoon spent his entire first hour trying to trash Ron Paul, but the only tools he had on hand were lies and half-truths. He compared Ron Paul both to Hitler (a warmonger) AND Neville Chamberlain (a perceived pacifist).

He started out whining that "Ron Paul supporters" were writing critical reviews of his newest book on Amazon.com, then tried to be clever by saying he certainly wouldn't ask his "millions" of listeners to go on Amazon.com and have them trash Ron Paul's books. Later, he admitted that Amazon.com includes clicks on particular books--that is, not just actual sales--to rate their relative popularity. So...he tried to get his listeners to improve the rating of Ron Paul's books.

There was a caller who handled himself really well, arguing for ending the drug war, while Levin kept interrupting and changing the subject. The result of the call, of course, was that Levin declared himself the winner, since he got his straw men all knocked down, or something.

I find this to be true with most rabid Paul opposers. They have this intense, visceral hate that I could never understand.

Hey, if you and your buddies had spent billions and billions over the course of three or four decades selling the public on pure b.s. which furthered your agenda and helped you concentrate power, and this group of reasonable people, using an internet developed by your defense department, undid all of that in four short years, you'd be losing your diseased mind too.

Like the man says, freedom is popular. Vladimir Levin's just going to have to get over that. If he can...

He's on Hannity right now, and it's quite funny...if you didn't know anything about him, you'd think he was a big Ron Paul supporter going by what's he's saying in this interview.

I was watching that and thinking how could a guy talk like this but think like Levin really thinks. Its just crazy insane.

You could easily replace Levin's name with Beck, Hannity or Limbaugh today. I kept turning them on while I was driving around, and all I heard was Paul bashing. I think Hannity and Limbaugh were both hoping to kneel before the Grinch and get hosed down with a hot load of his many gravy, the way they were talking him up. I tried to listen, but could only take it in very small doses.

I'm so very pissed the station that played Jerry Doyle is now gone in my area. Now its some crappy spanish music.

I know, right? I read his book Liberty and Tyranny before I knew much about him, and thought everything he said was awesome. Then I started listening to him, and realized that he must be psychotic with the amount of cognitive dissonance going on.

I was cracking up the whole time. It's hilarious how he can get so upset over someone who "isn't going to be the nominee or the president."

And for those who are wondering about when Levin claimed that Ron Paul voted to attack\go to war in Afghanistan without a declaration:
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=hj107-64
That is the bill that authorized military force against those who attacked us on 9/11. Not one word in it about Afghanistan.

FYI - there are a bunch of new 1 star reviews for Ron Paul's books on amazon tonight. Whatever.

It's called denial. He can't face the truth without acknowledging that he's a complete failure.
Most people can come out of denial, because they have a backbone and long for a clear conscience.
Some people, however, will go to any extreme to stay in denial.
And yes, this is without a doubt the first sign of an evolving psychosis. I'm not making that up. This is a medical fact.
