Just to clarify for California. It seems like the Open Primaries amendment from 2010 Prop 14 applies to all primaries except the presidential race.
Sheesh... I searched for "huffington post" before posting and it turned up nothing!!
Don't expect a lot of open support for the idea.
I'll acknowledge that your warning should be given serious consideration. But if worded carefully, I don't think that putting down Obama will turn off those independents/Democrats that we're looking for. The important thing is to not implicitly or explicitly criticize a vote for Obama in 2008. I voted for Obama in the general in 2008. Probably a not-insignificant number of us did. And most of us shared a lot of the same concerns, hopes, and intentions (most notably those in the article). The key is that we have been disappointed; our good intentions have been disrespected and abused, and that should and does upset us. And we will do something about it...Be careful not to sell it in a way of putting down Obama, but giving them a choice between Obama and an anti-war Republican.
Attacking Obama puts Dems on the defensive as they most likely voted for him.
Some may like Obama more than Ron Paul but prefer to hedge their bets if Obama should lose.
I do expect it, because I understand the electorate, and indeed the support is insane.

That's in about 12 hours. I'd say this thing has legs.
Why when I type in 'blue republican' in the facebook searchbox,I get results for pages with other names and maybe 10 members and not the blue repulican page with 898?
EDIT: The search worked 5 out of 10 times.I logged out and then back in for the last 2 searches and it worked neither time then.
