"I would support breaking the rules more if I honestly felt that's what America wanted . But right now I don't think America has woken up enough for that and I don't think that's what they want."
Per the OP, there was no admonishment to break any rules. You're piping about a non-issue here. Your comments in this thread indicate that you don't understand the process.
Consider that if you're filing your taxes, any competent attorney will tell you that if the tax code does not forbid doing it a certain way that gives you advantage, then you should do your taxes that way. If the delegate process does not forbid Ron Paul supporters from being delegates and shaping the convention process toward the ends of liberty, then that is what they should do. They shouldn't hold to notions of "fair play" that are divorced from the reality of the rules which govern the system. It isn't cheating; it's doing what freedom-loving American's should do.
You don't want to cheat or break the rules. Good on ya! But, that wasn't what was being advocated here -- you brought it up as a way to dis the OP. Learn what the rules are. If you aren't comfortable following the rules and using them to advantage, then don't. And, don't denigrate or discourage those that disagree with your position on following the rules in order to pursue a desired end.
