Oh OK. Great! So what year will we see spending be less than the year before?
Well I ran the numbers yesterday so if you rule out medicare and social security and interest on the debt the government did spend less after covid relief spending ended.
So there were a couple years.
Then you had Biden pass the Inflation Reduction Act.
That was the green new deal spending that would cost trillions of dollars if its not capped.
The Republicans voted to cap that.
The Republicans also cut the Obamacare subsidies.
Are you going to be able to cut Social security and Medicare when 80 million Americans are on it?
No thats not how democracy works those 80 million people won't vote for a government to take away their food and medicine.
That would be like eating your grandparents to survive (Hello Soviet Union)
Are you going to be able to vote to cut the defense spending that keeps our economy working because it defends our economic interests?
No that would cost us more.
That would be like if you stopped eating so you could save money on buying food. We need defense to live.
So there is only going to be some things that are possible to cut.
We can cut waste in medicine that costs a tremendous amount of money because democrats left the borders open and democrat scams.
We can cut subsidizing open borders and paying people to move here and vote for democrat scams so there are less democrat scams.
Those are the things we can possibly cut and thats what the republican party cut.
Those are the things the democrats aren't going to cut if they take power.
They are voting not to cut those things.
