Doug didn't say Ron Paul was Frodo; he just said that Ron Paul would throw the Ring of Power in Mt. Doom if he came by it. And I agree.

That's exactly what I was thinking. As highly as I think of Ron Paul, this needed saying. And it's not just nerd-nitpicking either -- the One Ring is shown to have that effect for a reason.

Actually, when I think of Ron Paul and our current state I think of late Numenor instead -- Paul being either Tar-Palantir or Amandil, depending how optimistic I am at the moment.
