If Paul was not in the race who would you support?

If Ron Paul was not running, I probably wouldn't bother voting. I'm tired of voting for the lessor of two evils.

If Ron weren't in I`d sit this one out. He is the only one who is championing the message of liberty - I would add with a record to back it up. The rest are outright enemy's of liberty or posers.

Ditto for first part; QFT for second part.

If Ron Paul weren't running in this election, I would be banging my head up against the wall.

When it came down to voting though, I would probably vote for either a third party or Democratic candidate (not Hillary). In the past, with the exception of 2004 (when I voted for Badnarik), I've always voted Republican.

If Ron Paul wasn't running, I would be pissed off and not even thinking about voting!

WHY NOT VOTE FOR THE CONSTITUTION PARTY? They have allready virtually endorsed Ron Paul. Furthermore, this not voting attitude is absolutely pathetic and I know Ron Paul would look down upon this very much. Go find someon like ron paul and vote for them. There are a lot of small parties you know. Your vote does count.

You guys should consider the Constitution Party if Paul is not Running. In fact, their head guy has allready endorsed Ron Paul. Their ideals are extremely close to Ron Paul's. If Ron Paul wasn't in the race I would vote for the leader of their party, Mike Petroicha.

a lot of bigots there. I don't care if gays marry, I just don't think government should be regulating marriage in the first place. CP members hate gays. I also believe in cutting welfare, open borders, legalizing drugs and prostitution, so I don't think the CP is for me.

open borders AFTER we quit subsidizing unhealthy immigration ;)

The Constitution Party is anything but. They're a bunch of bible-thumping theocrats who hate the Federal government primarily because they see it as getting in their way. They are not Paul's people by any stretch of the imagination, which is why Paul has always been associated with the Libertarian Party. From when he ran as a Libertarian in 1988 to when he was a keynote speaker at the Libertarian National Convention in 2004. Dr. Paul would almost certainly want his support to go to the Libertarian Party and libertarian-leaning Republicans, not the incorrectly named "Constitution Party".

They were a lot better off back when they were the paleoconservative "US Taxpayer's Party", but they've lost that ideological heritage when they nominated those two demagogues in 2004.

I'm sticking with Paul to the very end, but who would you support if he wasn't here?

Huckabee opposed the war and until the "surge" had success. He recently called Bush arrogant with a "bunker mentality."

He's the ONLY other republican I can even stomach right now.

We might have two anti-war republicans in the top 3 coming out of Iowa.

I consider that awesome. His supporters congratulated us a few times during moneybombs so I at least consider the Huck campaign to be human unlike some of these other campaigns.

wow you would support Huckabee if Paul wasn't running ? That's odd considering they're polar opposites. Maybe you should hop off the Ron Paul boat and support the Huckster now.

and to answer the question I'd support Kucinich, even though they too are opposites but atleast they fully agree on the things that matter to me most (war/neoconservatisim,fed). Oh and they're the only honest candidates running, along with Gravel.

Steve Kubby

Steve Kubby. He is currently running for the LP nomination but if Ron Paul gets the Republican ticket, Kubby will endorse Paul. Their positions line up well and he seems very intelligent. None of the other Republicans deserve this thing and certainly none of the democrats (yes, Kucinich/Gravel are honest and so I give them credit there, but let's face it, they're both socialists).

Also, I believe this is my first post but for the record, I've been reading these forums since about the day of their inception.

And finally, I think we have good reason to be hopeful that Ron Paul will carry the day. Don't stop your efforts towards Iowa and New Hampshire until the last second. Cheers!

Looking at things now, probably no one. Well I guess a LP candidate, or just write in Ron Paul for giggles.

On the major issues, the constitution party is right in line with Paul.

If Paul wasn't in the Republican primary, I'd probably vote for McCain. Yes, he's made alot of mistakes and supported the war in Iraq and no I wouldn't be happy about it, but I'd do pretty much anything to stop the Giuliani/Romney chance.

this is a troll question.

Since you asked it.

IF Ron Paul was not in the race I would probably still be living in the Matrix and thus would be one of the 260+ million apthetic sheep that we must reach.

I would have voted for whoever had an (R) next to his name in November.

However, he is, I took the Red Pill, and my life has changed forever...

Limbaugh, Coulter, redstate etc HATE huckabee.

Limbaugh hates Huckabee for several reasons:

1.) Huckabee is a big government socialist. Huckabee may be running as a Republican, but what he really represents is "the Religious Left".

2.) Members of the Huckster's campaign staff took shots at Rush.

3.) Rush Limbaugh's show is broadcast by Clear Channel Communications, which is a subsidiary of Bain Capital, LLC, which is owned principally by Willard "Mitt" Romney.
