If Mccain reaches the magic number..Are we bound to still nominate him at the convention? Or can the delegates nominate who they want? Can someone answer this?

first off, there is no way with 100% certainty that if he wins an estimated 1191 delegates, that he'll have that many votes. read my newest post @

so basically no one will win till the convention, if I'm right I think there are more unbound delegates than bound as a whole, the idea was to give the party a way to stop the popular vote from nominating a loser... cause usally they pick who the delegates are

this year, the unbound delegate loophole might backfire on them

Alex - Do you know if they first vote is a secret ballot? Would RP-friendly delegates be able to vote for him even though they are bound by their state to vote for someone else?

I believe this also allows for plenty of time for McCain to implode, and his delegates to vote for someone else.

If we have more Washingtons, McCain won't get 1191.

Keep fighting, President's Day moneybomb 2/18!

Speaking of Mccain, has anyone heard from him lately?

Huckster has been all over the news I hear--but what about Mccain?

Has he been quiet since he snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory?
