I'm not trying to troll or anything, this is just an if type of thing.

If McCain gets the nomination, the GOP loses the presidency. McCain is the embodiment of everything that I can't stand in the GOP. I would write in Ron Paul in a second and take votes that would have otherwise gone to the GOP. They won't lose all the RP supporters, but I imagine they'll lose 2% at least of the national vote. Thats 2% they don't have to lose...

If McCain gets the nomination, I will concede to a Democrat. I prefer a Democratic tax increase than a McCain tax increase.

When or if that happens, Paul will be a third party candidate and Mccraps worst nightmare. Just because old puffy jaw says something don't you believe it, this ain't over by a long shot.....and of course a lot can happen to a fella in 6 months that has a cancer the size of Texas growing on the side of his face and throat.

They are really scared right now, that is why all the bluffing right now......this is just high stakes poker and I promise, Paul has one up his sleeve.

I pray you are right!!!

I'm wondering if Dr. Paul might be offered the Secretary of Treasury position, or even the vice presidency. Sure, McCain and Paul don't agree on a lot of things, but I'm sure McCain and Dr. Paul know that a libertarian run would split the party and hand the democrats the white house.

if any of those idiots get the republican nomination, Ron should run third party to ENSURE that the republicans lose. They'd deserve it.

McCain gets the GOP nomination. Hillary wins the election.

It's all part of their plan.

If you DON"T VOTE FOR RON PAUL, regardless if he is GOP or not..
you are a FUCKEN TRAITOR.

You are UN-AMERICAN.. Why? Because you QUIT on Ron Paul.

“Americans never quit.”
~ Douglas MacArthur

if mccain gets the nomination..... we are in for a whirlwind shitstorm no matter who wins the presidency

Do you think the MSM is going to report all the Ron Paul write-ins? LOL

Instead of wasting your vote, just vote for Hillary to ensure McCain's defeat. That would be a *real* vote for hope--hope that another constitutionalist and freedom-lover will come along in 2012. On the other hand, voting for McCain is also a vote for McCain's re-nomination in 2012, because no constitutionalist would have a chance at the nomination against an incumbent.

Exactly. With 6 out of 10 Americans against the war, there's no way a pro-war candidate is gonna win. The anti-Iraq war people are NOT going to vote for more war. McCain is a sure loser and he knows it. He's stupid, but I don't believe he's stupid enough to think he can win the presidency with his pro-war position when more than half of Americans are against it. I think he wants to throw the election to Hillary. It's all just a sham to make you think you have choices.

So, for any non-Paul supporters that may be lurking in the forum, you may as well know that a pro-war candidate is not gonna beat Hillary. So, if you don't want to see Hillary in the white house, you need to throw your support behind the one who can beat her, which is Ron Paul. It's either Ron Paul or Hillary. Take your pick. I think the choice is obvious.

We will see. Remember they still control the voting machines. We all know they love this war.
Hillary claims she will pull out of Iraq. If McCain wins with his 100 years in Iraq stance I will be convinced that the elections are rigged.
Many Republicans I know will either not vote, write in Ron Paul, or vote for Hillary to break the GOP.
We have had it!
When strict GOP supporters like Limbaugh,Ann Coulter and Glenn Beck can't even stomach the guy you know you are being sold a load of crap.
Basically we are being told that McCain is the man you must line up behind him.
In a fair election the candidate getting the votes would have the support of the people. Where do you think the votes are coming from.
Also look at the money raised ! Ron Paul is very popular but he can't win the elections.
Do the math. Things aren't adding up.

If you vote for Ron Paul, the powers that be in the RNC will notice that is was not democrat turnout that won, but Ron Paul's message.

There's no freakin way I'd ever vote for Hillary. I will write in Ron Paul. Period.

While I dislike McCain, and would hate to have to vote for him, I would.

For one simple reason. Supreme Court Justices. I cannot stand another Ginsberg on the SCOTUS. Everything else can be fixed in time, but you have to wait for a Justice to die and that takes a long time.

Remember Ron Paul is the champion of the Constitution, and we should be as well. If he is not running then we should vote for the candidate that is going to appoint judges that will uphold the Constitution.

There's a utube out there of a recent Handjob and Combs interview with Ann Coulter.

I don't watch Fox, just heard about it. She slams Mcwarhawk for being more liberal than Hillary, more untrustworthy than Hillary AND less electable than Hillary. In fact, she goes on to say that she would campaign for Hillary if Mcwarhawk gets the nomination. Apparently Combs falls all over himself to hold her hand.

Pretty funny stuff, love to see it--

Myself, I'm torn between writing in Ron Paul and voting for the Dems. I have a wait and see position on that.

I will never, ever vote for Mcwarhawk, ever.

I can not even considering voting for any of them.
I will write in Ron Paul.
I will also practice Open Hostility toward the GOP. Both the Republican and Democrat Parties, are acting in violation of and against the spirit of the Constitution.
I will have no choice but to consider them enemies.

Stop wondering. The only thing McCain will do with Ron Paul is attempt to destroy him with the power of office, much like Bill and Hillary Clinton did to Billy Dale.

If you don't remember who he was, Billy Dale was a fellow that John F. Kennedy asked to start up a "White House Travel Office" to facilitate the White House staff news reporters who traveled with the President all over the world.

He arranged hotel rooms, and air travel, etc. when they couldn't pack em all on Air Force One.

He was in charge of it since the 1960's and did a great job for numerous Presidents. Along comes Bill and Hillary, and one of Bill's relatives wanted control of it, to scam off some bucks.

Well, the Clinton's sicked the IRS, FBI, and Janet Reno on his ass. He wound up in Federal Court, defending himself against the IRS, and lost all he owned.

The jury took less then fifteen minutes, to find him not guilty. But he was broke, and the Clintonistas got hold of that office, and milked it for all it was worth.

John McCain won't consider Ron Paul for Vice President, as John McCain has a seething hatred of anyone who doesn't agree with his policies. For ecample, he told Senator John Cornyn to get the hell out of a commitee meeting, saying "Fuck You!, You don't know anything about this!"
He told Chuck Grassl;ey who is also a Senator, that he was "An Asshole" not once, but twice, on the Senate floor.

He isn't one to forgive and forget. He will try to ruin Ron Paul if McCain gets the Presidency and RP criticizes him in any way.

His temper is monumental, and his veracity is non existent.

I've said it repeatedly, When you choose the lesser of two evils -- you are still voting for evil.

That said, I will write in RP. I will not vote for evil.
