If Huckabee loses Virginia tomorrow...

We have too many amateur Machiavelli's on this site. I'm voting in Virginia for Ron Paul if I have to crawl 2 miles to the polling place over broken glass and razor blades to do it. End of story.

McCain is so DAMN OFFENSIVE that it's easy to be tempted to vote Huckabee.

But there is pluses in a McCain vs. Paul race too if Huckabee gets out. Huckabee is the GOP's last chance to save and unify the party before 2008.

A Paul vs. McCain primary is an essentially a Destroy-the-Republican Party Race. Paul would all of a sudden start picking up 20-30% of voters and we'd crack the support for the Iraq war in half once people converted to Paul.

Either way....if voters in Virginia are dumb enough to elect McCAin....they deserve what they ask for.

I'll be so ticked off at you people for being such stubborn jerks as to not hold your nose and vote for Huckabee, just to have a large open road to the convention.

If Huckabee can't win in Virginia, he has to pull through in almost every other state in my delegate projection in order for this thing to go brokered, otherwise it will most assuredly go to McCain.

If he wins Virginia, he would need only win most of these states: Ohio, Texas, Kentucky, Idaho, West Virginia primaries (they still have a few delegates in the air), Indiana, and South Dakota, and it goes brokered.

Huckabee need win either Virginia tomorrow, or Wisconsin the week after, and I hope it's Virginia so he has more time to campaign in Ohio, which is definitely needed for this to go brokered.

If NOTHING!!!

WE STEAL THE DELEGATES!!!!!

FUCK THE FASCISTS AND TROLLS ON THIS SITE

WE NEED TO FOCUS

How do you propose to steal the delegates when it's a winner take all state and McCain has enough bound delegates to win the nomination?

I'm voting for Ron Paul, I will never vote for those two crooks--a.k.a. Huckabee/McCain.

You do understand that if Huckabee loses VA by the votes of Ron Paul grassroots, and falls short of a brokered convention by 1-69, it's pretty much our fault we didn't win the nomination.

Why should any Paul supporter vote for McCain's VP? Besides, enough of the remaining states allocate delegates proportionally that McCain will probably break 1000 even if Huckabee sweeps them. Then it's only a matter of swaying a few dozen Huckabee or Romney delegates to give him the majority he needs. Might as well vote for Paul, since at least it doesn't help McCain's path to victory, which a vote for Huckabee would.

Yeah, I guess losses in those "meaningless straw polls" didn't affect Mitt Romney's decision to stay in the race. Isn't he 2nd in the "only thing that counts, delegates?"

Yes that's why Romney dropped out........oh wait it's not.

Look=delegates the main thing
Straw polls= useless
You can argue all you want but you can't change the truth.
It would be interesting to see of your thousands of posts, how many are doom and gloom posts.

Most of them do not. Remember the power of the media... McCain is their darling right now, and many people are influenced by that. So instead of voting for Huckabee, we need to work on sinking McCain.

Huckabee will not win in VA. I know becaue I live here. If anything the big winner will be Obama, but I will still be voting for Ron Paul tomorrow during the Patomac Primaries.

Huckabee

Am I the only one who would never vote for him, but likes the guy?

You have to admit he has an inspiring story.

Ya I like him. He has a great story....I've watched some of his youtube videos and they are really inspiring.

I live in Virginia and the pre-recorded message I received from Ron Paul this morning told me to remember to go vote for him. He didn't tell me to vote for Huckabeast. I will be voting for Ron Paul. Period. :D

no... far more than 69 will vote for mccain on the second ballot....

Voting for Huckabee and giving him more strength would do NOTHING for our cause. McCain would just offer him VP. People should vote their conscience. The OP is an idiot.
