It's not like the boat was just sitting out there in international waters minding its own business, it was directly on its way into Israeli/Palestinian disputed territory, and that is why commandos landed on them.

Why should Turkey and these other countries extend protection to citizens who insist on joining foreign conflicts?

petar- I agree with you in this sense: the middle east is a hellhole and wester people shuold stay out of it. iran, saudi arabia, israel, no one is safef rom it's bizarre power to transform people from civilized to barbarian.
