I just wanna say that I don't really give a crap about these silly "peace activists" who got themselves shot by Israeli commandos.

The situation in Palestine is between Israel and the Palestinians, and anyone who wants to go and stick their nose right inside this bees nest should at least be exceedingly careful about how they go about it exactly.

The IDF boarded this ship because it was defending its disputed territory, and these foreign idiots honestly thought that they could get away with attacking commandos with metal pipes and chairs.

Well surprise surprise, you got shot, and now you are dead, so maybe it is just darwinism at work in this case.

I know that Israel is extremely brutal towards the Palestinians, but I also know that many Muslim countries are extremely brutal towards themselves, and I really don't see why Turkey, or any other county in the world should volunteer to be involved with this conflict.

This whole conflict began because the world (UN) was unable to mind its own business, and that is also the entire reason why it will not end.

Besides, the definition of interventionism we bandy about refers to actions of a state. Unless I missed something, there was cooperation by Turkey, but no direct action. This was all private action.

See, the difference is between free will and the power of the state. Nobody sent troops in - these were people delivering food of their own free will.

No, I would not enter a war zone to help people who I had been told not to help. Those who would be telling me not to help would be calling it aiding the enemy and I would probably get shot.

Then you should take your own advise and do just that.

Either that, or get your ass over there and see if you can get it shot off for helping the enemy of a country during a war. I've been involved in that kind of thing and learned from experience.... perhaps that is the only way you will learn.
