I think we should put together a TV network for liberty.... everyone invest just like buying stocks, we have shareholders meetings and everything. but it would be set up so no single person could own more than .01% of the shares, to keep it honest.

Cancelling your cable won't make the media listen, contacting their advertisers would be more effective.

WAIT! I agree that we need to focus on the advertisers because that IS WHO pays the MSM's bills. If you set it up so a MASS email/letter boycott was sent to EVERY advertiser, talking maybe 100+, this will hit the MSM HARD!!! -Tyler

50,000 people dropping their cable on the same day in different markets won't put a dent in the MSM. Maybe the cable company you have your cable with will be effected to a miniscule degree.

Go for the juggular: Their advertisers.

Not really. Telephone, TV, and Internet are all merging. So, it's keeping up with the times.

I have every channel and I never watch the MSM. It all depends what you watch and if it's worth it to you.

This is going to happen!! I love it...Supporters will actually be spending less money, not more. I like the idea of a boycott of sponsers but there is one MAJOR problem with that. It is way more difficult to actually do. Boycotting their commercials by canceling the channels into your home is much easier and that means more people will actually do it. I think this could be bigger than the tea party. Who can't use EXTRA money? I think sending a letter to sponsers as you cut off the channels would be good. Let's do this!! There are millions of Ron Paul supporters. It's much easier to do this than give money. The cable companies will pressure the news channels to change because otherwise they will lose lots of money. This is even better than the blimp. IMHO

one year ago i moved to a new city and i decided not a have a tv at my new home. i really dont miss it. you can watch and hear so many things over the internet that you really dont need a tv.

I haven't had cable for over a year, but not because of Ron Paul. It's because I realized the idiocy of the reporting on the news channels, and realized the lack of decent shows on the other channels...plus, the cost is outrageous. A few hours of Packer football a week is all I desire. Anything beyond that is overkill.

Ha exactly the same situation here in Atlanta! I was stoked last week when they actually had the Packers-Raiders game on here and I could just watch on the HD antenna!

Take the money that you were going to pay
to the cable company and donate that to the RP Campaign.
