IA is in play and taken care of - what's next?

Lets move on and look forward!

Lets focus on the next states!

Where should we focus out efforts?

We need to be helping the campaign call all the likely Republican voters in IOWA. We have to close the deal, Tangent. Otherwise, all our work is for nothing.

They have tons of callers. If they have not signed up yet - they aren't coming. We need to be proactive and look forward.

We have done everything we can for IA.

How many callers do they have? If they have enough great. Last count I heard was 150 (not nearly enough).

I've been begging someone to set up a phone bank to call Nevada voters after 9pm Central. There is no reason the campaign can't do that. It should roll over from NH/SC/FL to IA/LA to WY/NV/AZ at the appropriate times.

After we identify voters, we should go out and visit them and get them registered if they are in a closed caucus/primary state.
Get as many volunteers and precinct committeemen as you can.
And fundraise.

Iowa is far from "taken care of", but the next states to focus on are NH and the early convention/caucus states -- NV, ME, LA, WV, WY, etc. Wins in the early small states will help swing the big primary states our way.

I think we have done all we can for IA - those those allready signed up should keep working on it. The question is what next - and we need to be proactive. Agree w/ you on state choices.

No there's not but until they do, others who have set up phone banks before outside the campaign can do so for Nevada. Why wait?

We need to focus on Iowa first.

Winning the Ames Straw Poll (Aug. 13th) needs to be our number one priority. We don't have much time left.

I've talked to Jun about this for rp2012.org two weeks ago, ie creating regional phone banks so if you are from the south you call SC or Northern FL, NE calls NH/ME, midwest calls IA, out west we call NV/AZ/WY.

We'll see if it comes to fruition. One hurdle is the cost of all the voter lists.

Call 4 Paul has a number of slightly outdated voter lists. Some states are dirt cheap. Others are mega expensive...

This thread should be deleted just because of the title alone. If just 1 person reads the title, and do less than they would have to help win at Ames, then it's unwise to keep this thread.

I disagree. The last poll showed Paul miles ahead of Perry. Not to mention that Perry is hated among democrats in Texas which can turn into potential Paul supporters.

Agree. Texas has an OPEN primary too where Democrats and Independents will be able to support Dr. Paul.

Not at all - everyone that will volunteer for IA has already done so. We need to start looking at the next step - not something a week and a half away.
