(IA) Huckabee, (NH) McCain, (MI) Romney (SC) Paul?

Does anyone have a good reason for thinking we'll win Nevada other than their state moto?

If only we can trick people in South Carolina that he actually did write those newsletters, then we'd have a chance!!!

Just kidding guys - I know SC people aren't all racist...

Why is everybody so upbeat about Nevada? According to the polls (yeah yeah, I know) he is in 6th place which would be our worst showing in the primaries. I am assuming there is something I am missing.

I believe those polls are over a month old.

All of the other candidates will be running on fumes (no money) going into Super Tuesday. If Dr. Paul has game planned it right, he should have most of $20 million to spend. Looking good.

I certainly hope Thompson shocks us all by winning South Carolina...*chuckles* it might actually be worth campaigning for him to take votes away from Huckabee. I hope Guiliani takes Flordia.

if this happens, there will be no clear front runner by Super Tuesday. This gives us the chance to "push forward" and possibly take a few states (or a chunk of them...dunno).

What I'm hoping happens is that the economy crashes/gets severely displaced....all the other candidates are really weak on the economy, but Ron Paul is VERY strong on this issue (even Ron's opponents don't challenge him on this). If it were to happen, Ron would be the only one to explain why....and well, people might put aside their differences on the war (and some other issues) in favor of Ron's economic issues.

It could make Ron Paul look like the biggest saint, because he's been preaching the same message all along....the others will have to change their tune for a "recovery", which might nto work out too well.

interestingly enough, there was an economist that said there's a 25% chance the economy could crash in the next 1-3 days. I doubt it'll happen, but, in some ways, I hope it does...as it'll point STRAIGHT to Ron Paul.

Maybe this is his "Secret"?? (j/k btw)

The economy is on the ropes, as the nations of the world seek to usurp US dollar hegemony. I'd like to know who that economist is that you referenced? I'm more and more inclined to agree each day.

Unfortunately for everyone, an economic collapse IS NOT a good thing in the least. Once done, it is exceedingly difficult to undo. Granted, Dr. Paul's methods would recover us fastest, but it will be for little when martial law has been declared during the "national economic crisis"...and suddenly everyone's wondering if an election is even going to take place this time around...

A crash is NOT what we want, EVER! It just isn't good when you can't find food in the bread lines...

Wiki the Iranian Oil Bourse and read this article from last year:

It's all like a kick in the head when the light goes on...

Too much negativity in this thread. Let's hope for the best everyone! All political campaigns do that.
