I was just called a sexist and a racist for proving someone else(Ron Paul) wasn't a sexist and a racist even though I am married to a hispanic woman, best friends with many minorities, and my wife is the bread winner in our relationship.
Logic #1.
This was a politically motivated conversation btw, and is further evidence to me that the average voter is blinded by by the polarization of the two party system and the way of thinking that goes along with that. Instead of looking at the truth, people call names and make personal attacks instead of talking about the issues and looking for common ground and solutions.

Her:
In case anyone cares about my political affiliations, I will not be voting for anyone that aims to deliberately dismantle women's rights, vilify the poor, pretend that institutionalized racism doesn't exist anymore, and continue the crusade to make gays seem subhuman. Soooo...not Republican.
ME:
OR you could vote for Ron Paul who doesn't represent any of that.
Her:
Ron Paul wants to reverse Roe v. Wade. Also, those newsletters
Me:
Ron Paul doesn't like Row vs Wade because it is not supported by the constitution. He wants states to decide. He also supports people going across state boarders if they insist on something their state doesn't provide.
The newsletters are none sense and have been debunked despite the refusal of the media to report it.

You will never find an audio or video clip of Ron Paul saying anything racist. Quite the contrary, Ron Paul has spoken out more so than anyone against the racist laws enforced by our gov't, including the racist war on drugs.
Her friend:
*referring to me* is a racist sexist bigot.
Her other friend:
I think following a libertarian model in which there are few federal regulations to help make the market a fair place for people to move up into the middle class, for small businesses to start, and to keep huge corporations and the prison-industrial complex from holding the majority of power and wealth in the country sort of falls under the umbrella of "pretending institutionalized racism doesn't exist."
ME:
Wow, some real out of touch comments here.
And LOL@ calling a guy who is married to a hispanic woman, who's best friends are a mix of minorities, a racist because he proves someone else isn't a racist.
Thinking in groups is racist.
Also, my wife is the bread winner in our marriage. I'm sexist.
Ending the war on drugs because it's racially charged is pretending that racism doesn't exist... I love the logic from you guys...
Please educate yourselves. Otherwise your perpetuate the problems of this country no matter what you believe.
