I wanna get a ton of "Voted for the Bailout" stickers to put on campaign yard signs

I disagree. Its a non-violent guerrilla tactic trying to bring attention to the destruction of our great republic that trumps property rights of a cheap political sign.

Our founding fathers would want something done. I'm ordering stickers.

I, for one, will be wholly focussed in signs in the right-of-way
The ones actual campaigns put out. I figgure they are fair game. Here the campaigns put out these 6 foot by 4 foot wooden signs on 4x4's. They are fair game, IMHO.

As opposed to running over Ron Paul signs, other campaign volunteers spray-painting "KOOK" on our signs, Throwing our signs in a pile and pissing on them if we want to retrieve them...stealing Ron Paul signs etc etc?

The LAW says that signs on the right-of-way are abandoned property, and in two states the LAW used the 'abandoned property' ordinance to censor Ron Paul.

I will now be using the same LAW to educate the public.

Maybe if they are proud that their candidate voted for it they'll want a sticker? We could present it all cheery for them like "Many people are FOR the bailout and we think it would be a good idea to point out the idiots.... I mean candidates... who voted for it."

That's perfect, and even though they probably will not allow you to do it; it is the perfect targeted audience for "education" canvassing. These are the politically active. these are the people we are most trying to reach. Coming away with a "no" answer is still a victory simply by being able to point out that their candidate "X" voted for the bailout, and look what it did to the economy. It's time for a third option. Present simple Austrian school economics to the resident, and then connect them to candidates who endorse it.

This tactic would be HUGE for BJ Lawson in NC-04; an interested third party, not BJ's people. "Remember the Bailout - Vote the Bums Out!" - via Concerned Citizens for Fiscal Reform. A simple education campaign designed to overturn anybody who voted for the Bailout against the will of the Public.

You're either a loyalist or a patriot. The Boston hoodlums sparked more than debating King George would have.

Yard signs. They are usually paid for by the campaign party anyway, if you want to go into trespassing issues, most houses aren't paid for so the bank actually owns that land (or the socialist government these days) despite that the tenant pays property tax on property that the bank or even government itself actually owns. That's not doublespeak, that's doubledo.

How about stencils to go with the spray paint ?

EDIT: stickers are kinda ($460 for 500) expensive so I'm going stencil/2 cans of paint. Here is a rough stencil that should print on regular paper. If one were so inclined, they would print this out and stick on poster board and cut out the letters with an exacto-knife type tool. On a McCain sign for example, spray underneath the name McCain with blue (where is has Palin), slap the stencil on have another hold it, spray stenciled letters in white done in a minute. I'm gonna work on ideas and post pics. ( No crimes will be committed). first rough stencil for most popular size yard (22"x15", stencil is 22"x8" for the bottom half) sign: The sign would say "McCain voted for the Wall street Bailout!"
