I urge everyone here to donate now

To Kerry Bentivolio. Less than 30 days. Urgent

I saw his ad running on Fox News quite a bit when I went over to my parents this past weekend. How much funding does he have and how much does he need? Has the write-in done any ads?

From what I've heard, Nancy is spending A LOT of money targeting absentees so we definitely can use more money. Glad to hear about K ads on Fox as I'm in the district below and haven't seen them. Anywho, the campaign is about to launch phone banking and have lit ready for canvassing soon. Trying to see if they want out of state help on phone banking or not and will post back when I get a reply.

I am not sure on what he has or what he needs. He just got his signs in. This race is now getting national media attention stating he is a Ron Paul supporter.

This guy needs to find someone to edit his bio page. It just doesn't sound right- lots of "red flags."

Stuff like "At age 56, in Iraq during 2007 he was with an Artillery Unit in an administrative capacity performing combat convoy missions before a neck injury forced him into retirement from his military duty."- if he was in an "administrative capacity" why was he performing combat convoy missions? Also, he "served with the military police on the homefront during Desert Storm" (translation: He had nothing to do with Desert Storm. He was a weekend warrior collecting checks in Michigan during the war). Why even mention Desert Storm if the closest you got to the war was a day trip to Detroit?

It says he met his wife while they were at Michigan State University, but that she has a degree from the University of Michigan (yeah, it's possible, but it sounds a bit unlikely).

He degree is in education but he worked "as an automotive design engineer for 20 years." Really? How did he work that? GM, Ford, Honda et al aren't in the habit of hiring non-degreed engineers to to engineering design. Sounds to me like he is "resume padding."

And what is "he earned additional notable majors at (long laundry list of obscure colleges)"? What does "earning notable additional majors" mean? It probably means he took a course or two at those schools- if that is the case, just say so.

Then there is this " Kerry’s valiant mindset, innovative ideas and strident efforts made it possible for him to effectively raise funds and gain media/public attention on this courageous endeavor at the age of 32. "- this sounds like it's the beginning of a citation for the Congressional Medal of Honor. But in reality, all this hype is talking about some local fund raising event he hosted for Reagan in 1980. A Republican fund raiser is a "courageous endeavor" requiring a "valiant mindset, innovative ideas, and strident efforts"? Really?

Email from Kerry and his campaign....

Friends,

Once again it’s about The Establishment vs. The Defenders of Limited Government.

This weekend The Washington Times wrote about the race:

“On one side: a political newcomer with ties to the tea party. On the other: a veteran Republican lawmaker who is clearly the preferred pick of the party establishment.

It’s a scenario that has played out in race after race across the country since 2010, and it’s taking shape again in the congressional contest in Michigan’s 11th District”

The establishment insiders, fueled by special interest money, have a long history of trying to tell the voters what’s best for them. This time when Thaddeus McCotter failed to make the ballot the Establishment sprang into action by recruiting one of their own, a career politician that sponsored the job-killing Michigan Business Tax, to run as a write-in candidate. The insiders don’t like that I’m the only one on the ballot because they can’t control me by dangling dollars attached to big government interests in front of my face.

I stand on the limited government principles our founding fathers so eloquently laid out in the Constitution. This election is clearly about the establishment and politics as usual vs. defenders of limited government and standing on principle. But to stand up against the establishment and politics as usual I need your help.

Will you stand alongside me as we fight against the status quo Establishment that has left our country in the hole financially by donating $10, $25, $50 or even $100 dollars today?

After donating will you commit to putting up a yard sign and asking 5 friends to do the same?

Our yard signs can be picked up at the following locations:

Just got word that they are accepting out-of-staters to do phone banking. It's total roots so people will be responsible for their own long distance charges. PM me how many calls you plan on making and I'll furnish a list for ya. There's a script to go with it.

For MI folks outside of the district, this is perfect for us unless you plan on canvassing the district. For interested locals, if you don't already know the organizer's contact info, PM me and I'll give it to ya.

When we did Ames we could get an account through google phone for our long distance, don't know if it works here, but just saying....

Does anyone have anything on this at all?

What's his chances of winning? You guys have been pumping him up but will he win or is he a long shot? I think most are plenty happy to donate, they just want to see it go toward a cause that has a decent chance of winning.

He has one of the highest chances of winning because of the way the district was gerrymandered Republican. He needs funds though to get his name out there and get the establishment off his back. That's why his TV ad is so boring, it's just to get more name recognition. This district doesn't need to be convinced to vote Republican.
