I think I may have found something suspicious...

I actually had more money when I was a student. I made more during the summer than I do now and split my living expenses several ways. There is a lot of easy money and disposable income ( plus easy credit).

Now instead of splitting bills with 4 people, I pay the all bills for 4 people.

I was researching Fox NEws employees. They are 22 times more likely to donate to Dems than Gop in this Prez election.

I found lots under wives names..... I have not tried all wives names.... Or their kids....

People think they are sneaky doing this. Most likely illegal.

I noticed the same thing just looking through the mixed lists. I saw a boatload of "Students" donating $4600 for Hillary Clinton, but no other candidate.

i have a friend who is a recent polysci grad and a paid hillary campaign staffer... i should ask her.

i would say that these campaigns probably recruit and hire students to help with stuff like putting signs out and events and such, and then encourage them to donate. of course, they could all be getting $4600 "bonuses" - and donating to the campaign could be a really really good way to get a promotion.... 'just sayin ;)

Most students aren't even paying for their own college, so of course they probably aren't paying for their candidates either.

Unfortunately for me - I am the ONLY one in my precinct that gave money according to the FEC.

If it makes you feel better, some $10k+ went to RP from my neighborhood :woot: (I had no idea)

Top Ramen and hot dogs, baby!! Breakfast, lunch and dinner of champions!!

Could be that committted parents donated, in the students names, in order to get around the donation spending caps.<IMHO>

Here is my problem

So I was using the huffington post thing looking up various stuff. How much actors gave, how much people in my area gave. Stuff like that. I did a number of searches of different U.S. military acronyms, and found that people who refer to themselves as U.S. Army tend to donate to McCain a LOT more than people who list their employer as US Army. Strange. But that wasn't what is interesting.

Do a search for occupation: Filmmaker. Not a high paying job for most people, and look at how much people gave on average.

http://fundrace.huffingtonpost.com/

Now, do a search with occupation listed as "Student."

Notice any disparities on average of how much people give? Why would students be averaging out at three to four times what other occupations are giving? While you technically could be a student, wouldn't that be a good way to hide "clout" in the donations?

DING DING DING!

Looking for further speculation and attention. (not for me, but the suspiciousness of it.)

Here is my problem why are those dumb ass actors giving to all those other idiots?
Why not Ron Paul? I say boycott any actor who is not for us and Ron Paul
If you’re not for us you are against us

There is no way that all of those students maxed out. They are on the govt. gravy train. So, all of a sudden, they are going to empty their pockets for a candidate? Think again!
