One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest?

I actually haven't seen the movie... It's next but. :D

I consider it one of the all-time great movies. And I despise Jack Nicholson. See it.

I'll warn you, though. It is nowhere near being warm and fuzzy enough to put the Sheilas (do you have Sheilas on the islands, or women?) 'in the mood'.

I like these dead cat bounces. Keep it propped up a bit longer please...I need more time to buy gold :p

Default credit swaps basis widening.

Not looking good for Lehman tomorrow if that is happening.

Rick Santelli just said ,on CNBC, he thinks the debt the Govt. is trying to buy is worth little to zero.

Yup, we are going to make money off this deal. That is not going to help Lehman tomorrow.

I wonder how much that cost them, if they held positions, in being gone?

I would think a lot of positions are being rotated into dollars - getting liquid - hence why the $ keeps firming up.

How long will that last???

trading looked very heavy near 4pm on the above chart.

If you look at the volume for this week, there seems to be very high volume right before the closing bell. I don't know much about the markets, but is that always the case - very high volume just prior to closing?
